Hands down the best little Mexican restaurant in Humboldt. A little difficult to find, if you're not familiar with the area, but we'll worth it. When you get there, ask Jason for his recommendation, the guy really knows his stuff and goes well out of his way to make sure you have a positive dining experience. And if all of this wasn't good enough, their prices are incredibly reasonable, especially nowadays.

I went earlier today and loved it! The service was amazing, the young lady who helped us out was very friendly and timely, and the restaurant itself has cute decor and is very clean. I got two of their tacos, one carne asada and the other shrimp, both were delicious. My boyfriend got the chicken burrito and he said it was a solid burrito. We would definitely come back when the area.

Food wayyyy overpriced, my shrimp fajitas came with only 5 shrimp! The margarita was filled with salt in the bottom it was BAD. I had to send it back!...small plates, not worth it!

Service was great, our waitress was very friendly and answered all of our questions and kindly indulged my older dad in his 10k questions. I am Mexican American and pretty picky about my Mexican food. I am not local to Arcata, I'm from So Cal where we have a plethora of delicious authentic Mexican restaurants all over the place. I was not impressed with the food. In my party, we had a chimichanga, quesabirria tacos, asada tacos, fish tacos and cheese enchiladas. The enchiladas looked amazing. I couldn't taste or see the cheese in the quesabirria tacos and the chimichanga seemed to only have rice. While the service was great, I don't think I'll be back next time I'm in the area.

I used to love this place and go all the time. I went here recently and got a few dishes. The ceviche was mostly all tomato with little to no shrimp, the veggie sope was bland and tasteless but could have been good with some seasoning or more flavorful beans, the veggie nachos were pretty decent.Lastly, we got a super quesadilla burrito with shrimp for a later meal. However after reheating it the burrito was the completely wrong one and instead had pork and was not what I ordered at all which was a huge disappointment and waste of money given that I can't eat pork. Overall the dishes are hit or miss and check your orders before leaving the parking lot if you order to go.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Humboldt County!! It's decorated nice! Clean and the staff is amazing . I ordered Camarones a la diabla and it was the best, Jason the manager took care of me and my party of 6. The salsa for the chips is a must have!!! Thank you for taking care of us always!! You guys are the best!

Basic good Mexican American dining. Very friendly staff. Food tasted fresh, not too salty, not too fatty. Good comfort food. I'd return. The fajita steak was nice and tender.

I love this little restaurant. I grew up in New Mexico and sometimes it's really hard to find good Mexican food in Humboldt county. I love the extensive vegetarian menu. Their salsas are delicious and the vegetarian grilled vegetable enchilada is my favorite. My son is a carnivore, and always orders the same thing, the Birria Tacos, which are a crowd favorite. Highly recommend.

Authentic Mexican food in Humboldt? Look no further because you're at the right place when you eat here. This is the only place I will go to for quesabirrias. The service is top tier just like the food. Jason, the manager is always so hospitable to everyone and despite it being crazy busy in there at times, he never fails to make sure our table is doing good, our waters filled, and always expresses his gratitude towards every customer who steps foot into the restaurant. Without a doubt my favorite Mexican restaurant around here. The ambiance reminds me of a sweet little abuelita's home where they are always asking if you're hungry and they cook you the most delicious homemade meal.
