My fiancé (he's Indian) and I have lived in LA for over two years now and we had yet to find any good Indian places that were to our satisfaction, until now! We're so happy that Amaravathi Express is here! The flavors are on point and well balanced and the service is impeccable. We've already been back twice and already looking forward to our next trip back, which is an hour drive and still totally worth it for quality Indian food.

This is a pretty new restaurant in the area and their food tastes amazing. It has a good ambience as well. The quantity is more compared to others thus, a good value for your price. I definitely recommend trying this place.

Have ordered idly vada, poori and masala dosa ,It took them 35 minutes to serve the first dish, even though there was no crowd ,vada was completely uncooked, poori had excess oil, no salt in curry and chutney’s. And I felt the lady on the register was bit rude. Lack of hospitality. Had a very bad experience, just the people who served were better.

This was my second visit to the restaurant; my initial experience was quite satisfying, especially for an Indian eatery. Unfortunately, my latest visit did not meet the same standard. Despite the food being flavorful, the service significantly deteriorated, deserving a zero rating. After an excruciating hour-long wait, we were informed that our order could no longer be fulfilled entirely. Additionally, the curry we ordered, which was supposed to include rice, was served without it. We had to request the rice as a takeaway after we had finished our meal. Significant improvements in service are essential for this establishment to avoid falling into the stereotype of Indian restaurants with poor service.

We went there around 8pm, Friday evening. It was empty, we were the first. Ordered gobi 65 (5*) mango lassi (5*), however, very disappointed with rava onion/masala dosa. It was completely soggy, potato filling was good, however, dosa wasn't. Sambhar was ok(3*) in taste, tomato chutney was very good (5*), coconut chutney very watery and soury.By the time, we were having our food, 7 additional guests came and ordered their food. And we ordered veg dum biryani Togo, it took more than 30 mins for this order. By then we realized they got just one chef. Not sure, but we may not visit during rush hours.Update: veg dum biryani was amazing, super blended spices, it was spicy but very good. we must visit here again for this.Parking: Roadside paid parking is available after 8pm, and it's free as well before 11am or after 8pm. Paid parking garage do exist nearby

I tried the new restaurant when I was in a trip to LA. The food was awesome. I had Biryani and Kothu Paratha. Both of them are served hot , spicy and tasty. Service is awesome and friendly staff.
