Green Banana Leaf is inside a plaza, can be chaotic to find parking on weekend lunch hours as it is near other popular food/ drink places such as bopomofo and 86 cafe.We ordered arroz caldo ( Filipino chicken ginger congee ), it is pretty good! I like the gingerly taste and warmness. We also ordered the pancit ( stirred fried rice noodle with pork ), the portion is large and we take the rest home after. The combination with the rice noodle, cabbage, pork , green onion and shrimp is pretty tasty. Although the shrimp is a little bit smaller.Service is pretty good, the lady is friendly, ask to refill our water, saw our table is a little bit dirty and offer to wipe it down for us.Inside they have a karaoke stage, and projector of music videos, music is lively. We went during lunch and haven’t seen people on stage but the music is soothing to hear. Inside the restaurant is mostly decorated green and red theme- like Christmas lol.Would recommend this place!Parking: Parking on weekend lunch hour is a little bit chaotic since there are other popular restaurants around

My big family and I came to this restaurant for dinner. They have amazing servers and cooks (not to mention, also TALENTED) and their food is great! Looking forward to come back here when I’m back in California.

The lomi was so gelatinous that there was hardly any broth. I’m disappointed because the one from Chino Hills was really delicious that’s why we went to try this location. The chicken in the molo soup and chicken sisig had bits of tiny bones. It’s good we saw them before we can swallow them. The bangus sisig was so bland.

This place is a little pricey and the food if not that good, I had an order of chichen adobo and rice and it was $22 which I don't mind paying if the food is good, but this place lives a lot to be desired.

Decided to stop on by and grab some lunch here. I don't often eat Filipino food, but I was craving it so I decided to grab the lunch special (beef short ribs) and vegetarian Kare Kare. The beef short ribs come with a small soup, small salad, white rice or garlic rice and a couple of mini Shanghai lumpia rolls. The ribs were delicious! Very juicy and flavorful, with the meat being tender. The salad is a regular salad, nothing of note, but it was fine. The other main dish I had was the Kare Kare! This had a great peanut taste. The vegetables were also fresh and with a good flavor. I was satisfied with the Kare Kare, but one thing I did notice was the high amount of cabbage/lettuce. I wish they swapped that with other peppers to make it even better. I was very happy with the food here, and if you're looking for some good Filipino food, this is a restaurant to go to!

My go to for Filipino food when driving from HB to Cerritos. Everything is super tasty, fresh and made with quality ingredients. If this place was closer to home I'd be stopping in every week.

My wife, daughter and I were treated to Green Banana Leaf while visiting California. It's obviously a favorite among Filipinos and I'm happy to see it succeeding despite the competition, some of which are just next door. Coming from the East Coast (Greater Metro DC), we don't have anything that resembles what I would categorize this as elevated middle ground Filipino restaurant that is a favorite go-to place. Unfortunately, Filipinos in Metro DC are not as warm with supporting Filipino restaurants saying that they can always do better. So it's nice to see a sizeable crowd inside Green Banana Leaf.Make no mistake, the food is delicious and yummy and there are some fusion takes on some favorites. But the overall ambience, character and demeanor of the servers do not uplift this place to another level. The service was good, but in typical Filipino fashion, too friendly and chatty. Well, maybe it's the vibe they want to portray but there is always potential to move it up to the next level or maybe they're happy with status quo. If the formula works and there's patronage, then so be it. But wouldn't another measure be if a more diverse customer base came in, then it would capture a larger market segment and get more buzz? Well, if it ain't broke ...Flavorful Filipino food, best enjoyed to share family style.

Another great traditional Filipino restaurant. All their menu are great, very close to home. Their Crispy Pata is great and can be combined with the Kare-kare.

The service was good, and food was very delicious! Will be definitely coming back again if I'm craving Filipino food! Great sit down place to come and love it here!We got the crispy platter and it was worth it since it gives us the opportunity to try all their fried dishes that we would usually get as an individual meal! Of course, cannot forget to get their garlic rice to go with the meal! Very good place to stop by and try and thank you so much!
