The cakes are really good and they've been ready each time I've gone in. Considering I drive out of my way for them, I'd say they're worth it. The vanilla with strawberry filling !

Love love love their raisin bread ($4.50), especially when fresh out the oven. I've never had raisin bread so soft -- they get it perfect every time. The raisin to bread ratio is just right which I feel is pretty rare as most places are afraid to put raisins in their raisin bread (crazy right?) but Honey Bakery doesn't shy away. Been a local favorite since we've moved here 20 years ago.

We having been coming to this bakery for over 8+ years to buy our bread. The staff has always been friendly to us leaving a positive experience. In fact, the lady on the weekend always greets us with a smile and even shared a new way to make grilled cheese sandwiches. Also, we appreciate how the staff is able manage the flow of service, since ordering a cake can be time consuming. Thank you for making delicious breads with great service!

The cakes are not heavily sweeten. The fruit toppings make it a level above. Never had a bad cake from them. Cash is king at Honey Bakery, so be prepared. I also tried the cookies and tarts. All were fantastic.

We have been coming for years and years for cakes for birthday, anniversary, graduation, you name it. These last 2 times have been a bad experience. Cakes used to be so fluffy and yummy and it is basically all cream now. If you LOVE cream this cake is for you. But overall, they have been making changes and cutting back and it is very noticeable. I'm sad to say after many years, we will have to find a new place.

The cakes before the pandemic tasted better. Now they change ingredients. They have less bread and the cream is now whip cream . Is so horrible. Is a whip cream cake . Don’t waste your money. They are expensive. Bring back original recipe.

Ever since I found this place, I have been coming to get birthday cakes here for all my family members. I don't mind paying cash. I love how it not too sweet and it's so moist. Can't compare the grocery store cakes to this.

As another reviewer said, this is a family owned so please be patience. The cake is very soft, fluffy and light. The cream is non-dairy. Minus a star because they do not take orders over the phone. You have to go into the store to order and pay. Not sure if they haven't gotten burn in the past by customers. If the cake is available then they can customized it and it may take up to an hour. For a chocolate cake that I needed, they asked me to "call" on the day of to put a chocolate cake on the side. Once I'm there then I can customized with the cream (vanilla or chocolate) and the desired fruits. Well I called and they are put all the chocolate cakes out. Unfortunately I would not be able to get any customized. Perhaps if you go there, placed an order in advance then you can customized it. It's a shame since we are not from the area.
Have actually ordered from this location on multiple occasions. The cakes never disappoint. The place is nice and cozy. The service is great. It is cash only. So be prepared to pay cash. I definitely recommend. The baked goods are also delicious.

A generous groom shared cake leftovers with my family and I after celebrating his wedding at a brewery, and man oh man was it delicious!!! Still thinking about it the next day!

About two weeks ago I came by this bakery to try their one slice mango cake. It is one of the best mango cakes I have ever tasted. However, the customer service was not very friendly. The lady at the counter seemed busy in removing freshly baked bread rolls and did not stop to acknowledge me coming into the store. She kept doing what she was doing for a few minutes before attending to me. I would recommend this bakery for the mango cake only.
