On our first visit to this place, we found that the staff is very friendly. That's the most important thing even before you dine in. They explained to us every item we were about to order. The food was really good and cheap. They have a large menu to select. We ended up ordering more than we could eat and ended up taking the rest home. Awesome place and we will visit this place again to try other items on the menu.

It's not the same as it used to be years ago when Jitubhai was there. The staff and cooks have changed and so has the quality. Staff at the counter is flat faced who probably haven't smiled in years to welcome the customer. Some of the food items still taste as good as earlier but many items have poor quality now. Bhatura has a different taste now. Sambar has poor quality and taste now. The good thing is the decor. It seems that the owner doesn't care anymore and shows clearly because anytime you go there, you will find much less customers than they had years ago.

Very friendly and nice people at register. They have good quality and quantity of food. Food taste is very delicious especially when it comes to Indian fast food. Dinning area is always clean and good to have lunch or dinner with friends or family. I love this place a lot and visit more often with family. I highly highly recommend it, if you really fond of Indian fast food.

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants because of the quality of food but not anymore. The cooks and staff have changed and so has the quality. The Bhatura used to taste much better earlier, Dosa's sambar used to be much better. I have decided to stop going there now.

Terrible customer service. Made my dish spicy when I cannot eat spicy food, refused to remake the dish. Owner heard me and my mom speaking Punjabi, and is clearly discriminating. Don't come here!!

Food was great just a few items were a miss. Prices could be a bit better as I know this place that had great prices but then there’s inflation everywhere right now. But the pani, Dani sev Puri and samosa chaat are amazing. Chai is also good.

I've been coming to this restaurant for many years, including when it was across the street a block down. I've not been eating out much over the last few years, but came back to this location because of having many good experiences in the past. However, upon entering I no longer recognized anyone behind the counter, received glares from employees as I walked toward the counter, and was told in a rude tone that they would not be able to order food from the thali menu in small containers. I got the feeling like it might be a race thing rather than a lack of dishes available. I walked out, and ordered a $90 worth of food from another restaurant down the street that appreciates paying customers more. From the looks of recent reviews I might have gotten lucky by having them turn me away.

We went there yesterday and ordered samosa and fried stuffed chilli. The fried stuffed chilli while it was hot, had a funky smell and then we spotted mold in it! It took us a couple of minutes to uncover that given that the chilli was served hot. I went to the counter with the food and started complaining only to find more white mold on the onion pakoras that were displayed in the glass counter!. This was a rude shock for us given that we have been visiting Rasraj for about 5 years now. The owners were in denial even when I took the stuffed chilli and asked them to notice the rotten and moldy smell emanating from it. We are going to stay away from this place and suggest you to do so to avoid food poisoning.
