Sushi is good and consistent, service is good, definitely a local good sushi spot. Ambiance is small and cozy. I visit this spot quite frequently.

Good food with very generous servings! Their rolls were our favorite, they were really good. Their bento boxes were good too however the meat was quite hard to chew. Service was very impressive!

Nothing but good things. This is our go to sushi and ramen spot. I have never had a sushi here I didn't like. They have a 50 off menu for sushi and it's such a great deal. My kids and hubby love to get the tampopo ramen set with sushi. It's definitely worth the price and is a good amount of food. My favorite sushi is the Japanese burrito and the handrolls are delicious and good sized. Service here is always good. My water cup never gets low and they are very attentive which is a plus if you every get heavy handed on Wasabi. Definitely recommend this establishment and have referred many of my friends to come and try it out themselves

Pretty good assortment of food. Their main focus tends to be rolls, but I'll often come here if I want a quick udon or ramen fix. The menu is quite exhaustive, but sometimes it feels like they're going for quantity over quality. I recently ordered an unagi bowl which was not bad. My partner ordered a mackerel/saba meal. The sides were ok, but the actual fish while a large portion was rather dry, a bit overcooked, and somewhat bland. Won't stop me from coming back, but I'll definitely narrow my options down from what's available. Took photos of the most recent menu, since what drew me in was the cold noodles (Zaru soba) that were no longer on the menu when I went.

I went here on a Tuesday night and saw that it wasn't too crowded. It's located in the plaza that has Tastea in it, right off of South St. It's pretty lowkey outside, but I can tell you it's more than that inside. The place has pretty affordable sushi rolls that range from $6 - $9 if you choose from the one-sided menu sheet they give you. They do have lunch specials which look very convincing! The food came out in less than 10 minutes, and the ssrvice was overall great. Everything was fast and efficient, and I will have to come back for lunch!

They have an extensive menu & always have the 50% off roll specials. Service is quick & food is reasonably priced. I'd say it's definitely worth the price you are paying for. The sushi rolls here are pretty solid. The portions are good but the flavor in some of the sushi rolls is a little too bland in my opinion. The ambiance of this place is small. There's also a sushi bar to sit around along with indoor seating.I will need to try the other sushi rolls & possibly even the ramen. Overall, this place is good to come for sushi rolls that doesn't cost over $12 or $13.

8/1/23 A solid choice! I wanted noodles and sushi so this was the obvious remedy, snd it was hubby's pickOur server, Kelly greeted us with a bright smile and told us we could sit anywhere of our choosing. At about 5 pm there were only a handful of patrons. This place is a small restaurant amidst a myriad of eateries in this very busy plaza. For Artesia/Cerritos standards, parking spaces are very small & cramped. We ordered the Tampopo Ramen sets, mine with (ramen) spicy tune sushi & hubby the sane but with teriyaki chicken. We were both famished as this was our first meal of the day. Additionally, I ordered the Tampopo sushi while hubby: salmon Fire sushi. It's true what they say about not shopping while you're hungry coz we ordered with our eyes & stomachs. Yup, it was a lot of food!! The dishes arrived promptly & we dug in-the broth was savory & full of flavor while the ramen noodles was just right in consistency-oh so good. Too much rice on my spicy tuna so I removed some-luckily hubby ate it with his teriyaki chicken. He loved his salmon fire sushi but the sauce was a bit sweet. The tampopo sushi was pretty good & very filling although I would not order it again-the fried flaky garnishing was too overwhelming. They were generous with the avocado filling. One other server, a young man continued to tend to us while Kelly took care of everyone else in the restaurant. We will definitely return whenever the mood strikes for both ramen & sushi.
