On my worldwide quest to find the best peri peri out of South Africa. This place is not too bad, although they need to serve plates with sides. It’s rather pricey for what it is, but really tasty. Had the breast and wing medium peri peri with fries. The flame grill was excellent. The peri peri was really well balanced and flavorful with just the right amount of sting sting the lips. High quality chicken that fair sized. I’ll come back for other stuff. Yumm.

Aside from the food that we ordered: quarter chicken with cream corn and the yuca fries plus the crispy chicken sandwich that was juicy and tender. The staff the guy who took our order was so sweet and patient gave us recommendations while being indecisive. I love how thick and crunchy the yuca fries were. And the cream corn reminded me of Esquites!

The spice of the peri-peri gives it a great kick, which is complimented by the char of the grilled chicken to produce a mouthwatering flavor treat that tantalizes your tastebuds! For those who like it hot, the peri-peri is available in hot & extra hot, while for those who prefer a milder flavor, there are options too, all the way through to a gentle lemon & herb flavor. I've had the dark meat half chicken with medium peri-peri, with a side of lemon & herb wings, and the fries with peri-peri, and thoroughly enjoyed it. This is my favorite peri-peri place in SoCal!

Tribos is one of the place that I kept coming back and introduced to all of my friends to! I first knew about Tribos through a Yelp event and kept coming back ever since. I tried numerous items on the menu and they were all delicious. Chicken Rice Bowl; 1/4 of chicken combo, Falafel, and Elote Corn. Tribos sauce is a bit tangy, spicy, and flavorful. Falafel & Chicken were always moist! Lemon & Herb is usually my go-to sauce and also Mild sauce for a little bit of kick! Always have such a great experience coming here and it won't be my last! Service is super friendly and parking is easy!

TLDR:Ordered $1377 catering which came over 1.5 hours late and our guests were hungry and an embarrassing experience for us. Tribos also forgot 2 trays of salads as starters. They offered to deliver the salad, but everyone was already done eating at that point. Took hours of negotiation to get the owner to refund us 20%, but later changed his mind and refunded us for the salads that weren't delivered and only 13%...Poor business choice as they probably won't get many large catering orders anymoreThat being said the food is delicious.

Great place. Delicious food. I ordered the wings with hot sauce. I loved them. Hot sauce might be little too hot for most people. you might want to try medium hot. Best thing is that their wings are grilled, not fried. Very flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Grew up eating peri per chicken and didn't have any for almost a decade after moving to the US. This was my first experience in the US, and it did not disappoint. Must try!
