The sushi was okay. I didn't expect it to be amazing. Small amounts for the price and not restaurant quality. The spicy chicken plate came with 5 pieces of chicken. Probably won't come back. Most sushi places in Merced are better.

The Sushi can be good but its not consistent. Cuts of fish and meals differ each time. I like the sake sashimi plate which is supposed to come with soup and salad, last time I ordered it no sides came not even the rice inside just some wilted lettuce. They are always out of the most simple ingredients that can easily be bought at the grocery store that is in the same parking lot. Tonight after 30 minutes i called to check the status of my order since I had not recieved a phone call for pickup and they told me they were out of cream cheese... Which was in 2 of my rolls. So now I either have to cancel/change half our dinner or deal with a main ingredient missing from the item with ne more than oh sorry.

Very small serving size per order. I'd rather drive thirty minutes to Turlock for sushi than eating here again.

The fried rice was especially delicious. It was not dry at all. The sushi rolls were also great and our waitress was attentive. I love that they had an outdoor seating area if desired.

I've only been there a handful of times. I don't eat sushi often and I certainly not had legit Japanese sushi to gauge it to. What I ate was good.

The food and the atmosphere is amazing! I felt a little uncomfortable tho the waitresses stand over you as you eat but other than that it’s good I’d come back

Service doesn't appear to be that great, and maybe possible management change or ownership? When I first came here this was the spot, been traveling alot and hadn't been here in like 3 months. Phone doesn't get answered and originally they were going to add 4 dollars to substitute white rice for fried rice, absolutely agree as there is a cost then they come back and say they don't do that any longer either. Wonder if the food taste has changed as well. Longer wait times too from what I over heard.

Very friendly staff there, Make you feel welcomed and valued,Called in a couple orders on my lunch break yesterday and were so upbeat over the phone like they always are when I order from them, They had my order ready pretty quickly and gave me a courtesy call to let me know it was done,Quality of the food is awesome,I had the California Roll and the spicy Tuna with some Miso soup,The worker there asked me if I needed utensils and anything else and wished me a happy holiday season and thought that was spectacular service

Great sushi, worth the wait. They have an extensive menu and I can honestly say that every roll I've had thus far has been great.

Wanted to give this place another try after the last time when they didn't have some of the basic items on the menu for me.Had the Chasu Ramen with an added egg, a side order of Gyoza and a Ramune: the ramune was good but they should have a better selection of flavors; the gyoza was very good, but the Ponzu dipping sauce that accompanied it was very unwelcoming to my taste. When I asked a server what it was and mentioned the taste, she confirmed my suspicions; she did offer to change the sauce, but I decided to stick with it and thought the flavor might grow on me with time: it didn't. Finally, the main attraction in my book: The Chashu Ramen. It was delicious and welcoming; the broth and noodles were a perfect combination of texture and flavor. Some of the add-ins, however, were not so perfect. The boiled egg was not a slight runny consistency it could have been, there was too much seaweed and bamboo and the pieces could have been cut smaller. Also wish they had a little more variety of add-in. As far as atmosphere, not a traditional Japanese interior and it wasn't crowded at all when I was there, even for lunchtime. Bottom line, this place was ok.
