Every restaurant starts at a 5The food was hot and fresh, tortilla chips were fresh *****Service was okay, I felt she was upset because she noticed the food wasn’t to our liking. ****I ordered a tamale with enchilada sauce for $15 and one received one tamale; I asked if it had cheese or sour cream, she said no. But when my plate came out… my beans had cheese. I figured she would have put the two together or mention the bean had cheese. ***My plate was too salty to finish. I only ate half my tamale and barely touched my beans and rice. **I think this place has potential but my experience wasn’t so great. I’d like to try it again, hopefully it’s not as salty because I’m all about supporting small local owned business.We will see how they respond to this critique because I see the owner has a hard time owning up to their fault, blaming others, isn’t polite and or not do they re-invite others to come in and try again.This goes a long way especially if you want to keep your business alive and spread the word in such a small town. Which makes me want to give them only * star especially from one business owner to another - “I’m sorry but… you shouldn’t have… you didn’t tell me…” but this will be a great indicator for future clients.Either change your attitude or/and your food. It seems your clients who are complaining are complaining about the same things.

My mom would try to ask a question and the waitress would brush her off and walk away and give her little attention when she did come around. When the tacos they came with no chili just need and that's it. I'll pass on this next time

I went on a Sunday, 15 minutes before closing for 3 days, so it wasn't the ideal time. They had been very busy and were out of things. It was a warm day and they were having AC issues. That said, the food was very good and the portions quite large. The service was quick and friendly. I know from experience they were tired and wanted to go home but that was not reflected in the service. The owner/chef came over for a nice chat. He has great personality. The prices were a tad on the high side, but again, the portions are large.I will be going back at a better time and may update this review then.

My son and I stopped here on our way to Sacramento and the food was amazing! The service was even better. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back when we are in the area.

So happy to see Tequila Cafe is open. I had moved out of state for a few years and had heard they closed. I tried their new location and was not disappointed. Omgosh everything was delicious as usual and tasted like I had remembered. Can't wait to visit again.

Was the worst I've ever been to. I didn't like the interior deco. Ordered a #1 only to find out that they did not have tamales So my suggestion is that If you don't have tamales they don't say you don't have tamales before I spend a half hour deciding what I want first something that you can't give me The next thing was the food was horrid to beans we're running watery didn't like the chips didn't like the salsa didn't like the carrots or the $12 margarita which was diluted to say the least the taco they described it as being crispy it was not in the least bit crispy the meat taste like they added taco seasoning the rise the same thing taco seasoning same thing
The rice was very salty, beans were not good either. I had enchiladas and the chicken was tough. I just tasted the food and didn't eat it. Very disappointed all together. First time there, and for sure the last time.

Always hot plates and hot food. Always great food and alot on your plate. I left so full and didn't even look like I took a couple of bites. Oh, and the carrot Always delicious. Thanks Ferman for another great meal and service.
