I go to Happy Wok every Monday for lunch with a friend. This "Lunch meeting" was initially intended to always go to a different restaurant in Auburn every week. Once we ate at Happy Wok for the first time, we started going there every couple of weeks, and then it eventually became the only place we go to every Monday. The food is delicious, the staff is VERY friendly and attentive (they always greet us and ask us how we are doing, and we don't even get menus anymore because they know what we want!), and the atmosphere is a nice, relaxing environment.The sesame chicken is always perfectly breaded, the hot and sour soup is INCREDIBLE, and you'll leave full without breaking the wallet. Best Chinese restaurant in Placer County!

Never going back there again!! Terrible service! Not very nice! Wants a $35.00 order to deliver!!!!!!!!' Screw you! I really like their food but I can't deal with their lack of service to the community. Go fxxx yourself! I am disabled and not able to drive in and pick up food so I rely on delivery service which they lack. Goodbye

The food was okay but rude and negligent service. And they charge an extra few bucks for using a credit card which is pretty stingy and ridiculous for a restaurant. Not a good experience.

There was a whole egg including the shell in the fried rice ?? not sure how that happens but
We regularly order take out and delivery, and the food is always great. Lots of vegetarian and fake meat options.Vegetarian options: They have standard vegetarian dishes, and a good selection of fake meat options. I haven’t asked whether any of the dishes are vegan.

Ordered food to go. Card reader had no option for custom tip and minimum tip was 15%. I do not buy into tipping for over the counter sales and was made to feel very uncomfortable when I explained this to the clerk.

Rude and disrespectful. The manager came out and raised her voice at me for not knowing the menu. Completely unacceptable. Maybe train your staff to explain menu options as opposed to taking it out on customers.
