Known by the locals since 1985, this place has a true hometown feeling, food and friendly service. Not to mention huge portions of REALLY good food. Chris and Justin took care of us perfectly while husseling through the Saturday breakfast crowd with smiles and friendly conversation. Sweetpeas is open for breakfast and lunch only but the menu is endless. You have to take note of the sandwich list and #30. Thats my guy and yes he ordered HIS sandwich that he created back in the 80's when he was a Prep Cook at Sweetpeas. You made him proud team. He said the sandwich was better than when he made his own.Great job! Keep it up! We'll be back soon. -Chef Jenn S. (Ret.)

We just had a bad experience at SweetPeas breakfast restaurant. What made it worse is that it was our first time and it was my Birthday! We sat down, everything was routine, the waitress was entering our order on a handheld computer that she mentioned she loves, and doesn't understand why her coworkers don't use it as the order she's typing in, goes straight to the cooks in the kitchen. She places our order and we wait......... then waited.......and waited some more....... We saw patrons come in, eat and leave, and we still waited. Waited for a total of an hour, without any acknowledgment, or empathy about having to wait so long. Finally the waitress came to our table, very apologetic, letting us know that the kitchen never received our order that she digitally imputed. This time, she pulls out her handheld note pad to take our order, AGAIN!!! Of course we said no, and we decided to go to Awful Annie's, across the way. Service was incredibly better. I can't compare the food, cause I never got mine at Sweetpeas. It's safe to say, we will never come to Sweetpeas Again.

My family always stops by when we we're coming home from Reno. You have to try the sourdough bread that they sell at the counter, t's delicious. The food is good and the service is always excellent. The restaurant has a small town feel to it. We'll be back.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Friendly atmosphere

This small cozy place caught my attention, so we decided to give it a try. The service was excellent, and our server, Antonio, had a fun personality that enhanced our experience with his friendliness and humor. The other staff members were also nice. The menu was extensive, and I was unsure what to order, but Antonio recommended the pork carnitas, which I rarely order. However, it tasted great. I also ordered a hot chocolate, which was good and came in a good size. Additionally, I tried the pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and golden. We have decided to return here soon since it's a good spot to go to, as there aren't many good places where we live.

I've been eating at sweet peas for years. Their breakfast is what brings me back time after time. It's a restaurant you can bring your employee's before work to show you appreciate them. Their service at every step from walking in, to paying your check is friendly and quick without feeling rushed. You can also bring your family for a very enjoyable meal where you can take your time and have a good meal and conversation without being hurried. The food is five stars never a complaint. Highly recommend.

This one of those first and last places for Breakfast. It has good reviews so we tried it, Food was less than tasty and the waitress had an attitude problem, don't think she might come and answer any menu questions she will only come if you close your menu. We didn't know the Code. Looks like some locals like it so they won't miss us.

I grew up in and around Auburn for most of my life and when I became an adult my dad and I used to meet here for breakfast every now and then. I moved out of state some years ago but whenever I travel back here to California, I make it a point to come in here, sit down with a hot cup of coffee and order a "big Tim's"... Just like my dad and I used to do for so many years... It was really great to be able to do this again in honor of my dad and the food and atmosphere was just as great when I used to be here with him... Until we meet again among the stars ✨️ Pop, you know you are ALWAYS welcome in my dreams. ❤

A true family home style restaurant. Food was great. Bloody Mary’s too. I was going to order the Mexican Skillet but then my server offered me an off the menu meal comparable to the Mex Skillet but better. It was so good, I ate the WHOLE thing as big as it was. Wife didn’t care for the gravy with biscuits. Gravy too much flour. Very friendly restaurant 4.9 ⭐️Kid-friendliness: Friendly family restaurantKid’s menu looks appealing.

There are 5 of us, 2 adults and 3 kids. Breakfast came to $81. Though the food was good, it wasn't worth $81....for breakfast. Coffee is nearly $4 a cup! My goodness, I buy organic coffee beans at $8 a pound. We don't think we will be back.
