My wife and I had an amazing experience at Tap & Vine last night for Valentines day. The service, ambiance, and food was all top notch. Did I say food? The 5 course menu was sooooo good! It started with an amuse bouche of oysters/caviar topped with Hendricks gin, but my favorite was the perfectly cooked filet mignon with bearnaise sauce. Paired with a well crafted Sazerac and a bottle of Schramsberg we could not have had a better experience. We will definitely be back.

We went on a Thursday. Service was quick, food was outstanding. We had the Brussell Sprouts appetizer, it was amazing. I had the Prime Rib burger, maybe the best burger I have ever had. Incredible. So much flavor. Wife had the Chicken Marsala, she loved it. Our friends both had the Grilled Cheese with Tomato bisque. I got a sample, it was crazy good. Really good beer too.

I recently visited Tap & Vine in Auburn, CA and had a great experience. The food was excellent, especially the seafood chowder which had a good mix of fish, prawns, and mussels. The service was also really good, and our orders were filled quickly. However, the atmosphere was not as good as we had hoped. We were seated crammed up to a wall and it was difficult to hear everyone in our party.Overall, I would recommend Tap & Vine for their delicious food and great service.

Unfortunately, my first visit here was off to a very bad start. I walked in at 5:50pm, and stood at the entrance for about eight minutes, making eye contact with several servers and the bar tender...just to be completely ignored. I ended up calling the restaurant from my phone just to get someone to come to the hostess table! I was sat quickly after that. The drinks were not good at all. I think it was the bartenders first night. The salt rim on my sister's margarita was mixed with sugar. My lemon drop was pure lemon juice and vodka, no simple syrup, and the barest splash of blue curacao. The mushroom bruschette was good. The only redeeming part of the visit. Needless to say, we did not stay for dinner.

Super cool vibe with exceptional food. Modern rebuild of a historic building. Very cool downstairs bar with live music at night. Small business owned and super nice owner.

Tap & Vine never disappoints. The food and service are excellent. Beautiful ambiance in the dining rooms and out on the patios. The chef regularly creates new and delicious menu items while keeping the Tap & Vine favorites (like the amazing Big Kid Grilled Cheese). Cocktails are wonderful and they have a really nice selection of wines. A short drive from Winchester. Can’t go wrong on Wednesdays for ½ price bottles of wine.

The san marzano tomato soup is delicious. Incredibly sweet and also quite creamy. I am very particular about tomato soup and this one exceeds my expectations. I also love the avocado tacos. They deep fry the avocado chunks and it makes for a really nice flavor and texture. I do think some of the other items on their menu are a bit overpriced. Their brussels sprouts as an example are around $17 and it's just an appetizer. Overall, I do like and recommend this place.

We had a really sad experience here. Meager service at best, never got our meal after an hour and a half of waiting, and felt pretty under appreciated as returning patrons by the owner. As someone who has worked in restaurants at a similar price-point, the level of service and overall attentiveness from the staff was 1 out of 5 at best. Poor service and the disappointing way that our situation was handled left my boyfriend and I with little motivation to return. After having a good meal here once, we went back for a date night. They have a really cute patio. We returned with the expectation that we would be spending a good amount for a pretty decent meal and nice patio. However, when we were seated by the host she left us with no menus. 10 minutes passed until the waiter came by to take our order, which we didn't have menus in order to decide. He got us menus and we put in our drink orders and an appetizer.Another 15-20 minutes went by until we got our drinks. Note, the restaurant was not that busy, with a pretty large dining area inside and outside not at full capacity and it was a Friday night. Another 15 minutes went by and we got our appetizer and by then, a couple of other tables had come in and been seated on the patio near us.We waited for the waiter to return so we could order our mains, and by then our first round of drinks was empty. Finally they came by and took our dinner order; the burger and the chicken wings, as well as two more beers.Another 15 minutes went by until the beers came out. Then we waited. Chatted. Saw other tables get their appetizers. Waited. Saw other tables that came in after us get their mains. Finally my boyfriend got up to find the waiter inside and say we hadn't gotten our meals, 40 minutes later after ordering.Turned out, the ticket had been stabbed and they thought it had gone out... We said we just wanted to leave and to please bring us our bill. The waiter came out with our bill, apologetic, and having only taken two beers off the tab. After making us wait for an hour and a half for no meal. Then the owner came out to apologize and made excuses saying how busy it was... which it wasn't. He gave us a $20 gift card.Having worked in service and managed customer service industries before, this was a very poor experience. When you literally forget about a table and keep them waiting for an hour and a half for their meal, you comp their meal and encourage them to come again - to give your restaurant a second shot. When the service was so poor, that they never remembered to check in with you and see how your meal was (assuming they delivered it), you feel loathsome to give them a tip, let alone pay the bill. $20 didn't even cover one of the entree's we ordered.Needless to say, there is a low likelihood we will return.Parking: Unless you luck out with street parking right out front, there is limited parking options.

Went here on a Friday evening in October. Beautiful fall evening to eat outdoors. The twinkle lights and live music made for the perfect date-night atmosphere. Food was excellent and service was friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend.
