Let me start by saying I came to this place a week ago by myself while I was driving from a job site. I just came back from Italy and recognized the word trattoria as an Italian restaurant. I was super hungry, so I grabbed a table and sat down. First impression, there's nothing fancy about the place. I ordered the salad with the Parmesan bread stick and pillow gnocchis. Portions were very small, like in Italy, but I was full. This is not Olive Garden. The food tasted good, unless I was just starving. The woman who took my order asked me if I wanted oil for the bread. I said sure why not. When she brought me the bill, I noticed that she charged me for the bread and the oil. She never told me she was going to charge me but, couple bucks, not a problem. Anyways, I wanted my husband to try the place. I have five kids, so I did not want to come with everyone. I was going to order to go and bring the food home. It was a crazy Friday night, I'm coming home from the grocery store, I have 1 million things to do. I Call them and tell her that he wants penne pasta. She said what kind of pasta? Like she did not know what it was. I explain to her that my husband is very simple. All he wants is pasta, some light sauce and just shrimp that's it. I was about to order $200 worth of food, but I did not. She told me that they do not do seafood to go. I asked her what would've happened if somebody ordered a seafood plate and wanted it to go? She very rudely replied and said "we wouldn't give it to them, NO SEAFOOD". I said I do not understand the issue. She said again, very rudely, "no seafood to go". I said OK well I guess never mind I'm not going to order. I'm not going to change my husband because they don't wanna do some thing simple. Sushi places give you raw food to go, but they can't give you a few shrimp. Unfortunately, they lost a customer who spends a lot on food and is well connected. Not gonna refer this place. I don't know how much longer they will survive, treating their customers like this. If that was an employee, she should be fired for the way she speaks to customers. I don't know if this is the vibe in the restaurant, but it's sad. This is not the way they do things in Italy. Let this be a lesson for the owner, hire the right people and don't let your employees treat your customers like garbage.

Great food in a relaxed setting. Very broad menu and not just reasonable, but downright inexpensive prices.

We didn't feel rushed, the food was amazing and the service was great. We will definitely be back. It was great to get to eat Italian food that could still be gluten free. I loved all their veg.Vegetarian options: There are several choices for vegetarian options and it is labeled on the menu.Dietary restrictions: They have a specific gluten free menu upon request. There were a lot of choices, including appetizers, main courses and even dessert. We will have to go again on our way home to try the things we missed on our first visit.

I came here for lunch with a friend for the first time – and I will be back. I got the margarita pizza and she had a pasta which she said was delicious. There’s indoor outdoor dining, but it was pouring so we ate inside. our server was really sweet!

I went to Pazzi last night. I ordered the scallopini. It was the worst scallopini I ever had. I'm not even sure it was veal. Tasted like beef...overcooked beef! It was coarse, thick, and tough. It was a chore to cut it. And it came in twisted pieces, not flat and tender. And the veggies weren't cooked enough. There's that place where broccoli and carrots aren't too soft, not too hard. Just right. Their's needed a little more cooking. However, their cannolo was good!

Really poor service tonight. Very slow and the waiter forgot one item for our kid and we had to wait another 30 minutes for his food.Plus when we made the reservation she was super abrupt on the phone and answered “hello”. It was half empty too. ?

We stopped by tre Pazzi on our way back from Tahoe looking to escape the traffic and get dinner. We found a lovely restaurant with great food, a cozy Italian atmosphere and super nice service. Very kind to the kids as well. Warmly recommend!

Meh. Nothing but pasta. Used to come for the Ciopino, but they no longer serve that.

A little gem of an Italian restaurant in the heart of Auburn! The food was delicious, the ambiance reminds me of small town Italy and the staff is super friendly.I had the mixed salad, the pasta bolognese and an espresso and everything was delicious. Will bring the family next time we are coming through!

We went toTre Pazzi tonight for my birthday dinner. Dezi was our server and was fantastic. She had great recommendations and really let us take our time and work our way through the various courses. We never felt rushed, unlike our experience at a different Italian restaurant in the area, and it was a leisurely, absolutely delicious meal with some nice seasonal touches. It’s one of our favorite places to go in the area and one of the few that serves on Monday nights, for which we were seriously grateful!

This is one of my favorite spots in Auburn. Great service from all the staff, anttentive owner who is usually present to actively create a welcoming environment, and wonderful food at a fair price. It is central, and never let's us down when we head there for dinner. Recommend the lasagna, and tortellini, and the brushetta. Thanks Tre Pazzi for the wonderful date nights.

The bruschetta is amazing. The bread is so flavorful and the oils great quality. The pesto dish is a favorite but don't skip the salad they have a house salad worth having. Extremely fresh greens tossed in a delectable blend of oils and fruit notes.
