I really wanted to like it, but unfortunately the food lacked authentic Mexican flavor. The flavor of the spices on the chicken fajitas just wasn’t there. It was an overall OK dish. If your palette doesn’t handle spices or spicy food, then this could be a good spot for you. But if you are craving that authentic Mexican sazón, then maybe this is not the place for you. The service was fantastic though and so was the atmosphere! MAYBE, just maybe I will go back to try an appetizer (asada fries).

Place used to be good with a build your own meal type beat, but now it's all premade. The food has little to no flavor. And they always get my orders wrong. Service isn't that great either usually get attitude from waitresses/waiters and the ambiance feels like it's trying WAY too hard. BRING BACK THE CLASSIC ASADA GRILL I KNEW AND LOVED.

The food here was fresh and delicious. The guacamole was made right in front of us. The service was amazing. The place was full of culture and have off great vibes. I would definitely recommend trying this spot.

Are used to come here before they remodeled it, and the prices were reasonable for what you get, but now they just overcharge for everything. Definitely not worth it.

They make homemade shell sopa. Enough said, in my opinion. I could go and grab that every day! Clean and nice inside, and service was wonderful.

Stopped by for dinner after seeing a movie. My husband had wanted to try this place for some time. The restaurant is located on Buena Vista next to Sequoia Sandwich. We were greeted immediately and seated quickly. The staff is quite nice. The place is spacious and clean, has a small bar area and appears family friendly. We were served the ubiquitous chips and salsa and our drinks. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with a green salad and my husband ordered the Chili Verde enchiladas. Our food came out quickly, hot and the cold salad was plated separately from the hot enchiladas. The waitress said she didn't want the enchilada's sauce to bleed into the salad. It's not every day you have someone be that thoughtful. Also the hot plate heats up the cold salad, but I have just accepted that if you substitute a salad for the rice and beans you're going to get a warm salad. This was a pleasant surprise. I did also realize that there would be an additional charge and I was correct, $1.95. It was worth it for a full size dinner salad with cilantro Cesar' dressing. With the multitude of choices in Mexican fare available in town it's nice to come across a restaurant that breaks the mold in a good way! Both entrees were great too, will be back..

Our family loves to have lunch on the patio at Asada Grill. Great food and great service. They usually serve some amazing shell soup while you are waiting for your meal. Also, the shrimp tacos are a must have if you go.

I love the fact that they're able to make a customized vegetarian burrito and how we were offered complementary chips and salsa along with a sample of the soup.Vegetarian options: You are able to customize dishes to make them vegetarian friendly.
Ummmm, please go and support this business! For 10.50 I had a delicious wet burrito filled with chile verde and rice and beans. Their salsa is sooo good, a bit of a kick but not so hot you don't want to go back in for more. My dining friend had the chimi and said it was delicious.

Don’t recommend this place. This is not Mexican food. My husband ordered the salmon, it didn’t look good, it didn’t taste good. Over priced for what they serve. I rather pay a little more for tasty food. A lot to choose from in Bakersfield!!

My wife and I find this place actually by happy chance. We thought it was actually fast food place but end up being much better food. Service was great, waitress was quite nice (unfortunately forgot her name). Will go back again in future ?
