Great spot near some hotels. Had great food and good local beers. Hotel recommended and it was good. Staff was friendly and helpful and recommended the best food on the menu. nothing to complain.

I tried one of their lunch specials: chicken sandwich. The batter was flavorful and crisp & chicken was juicy. I had a salad as my side with ranch. The veggies were cold and crisp & the ranch very good. Not all ranch dressings taste the same (IYKYK). I was able to sneak in a fry or two from my husband plate and also great. Fry was skinny, crips & well seasoned. I'm interested in going back to try some other things.Parking: Ample Space

This place is stale. I ordered fish and chip. They were soggy and doughy. My date order a BBQ sandwich that was good. The waitress seemed to have a chip on her shoulder and wouldn't acknowledge me. Instead, she would only address my blonde date. They had sports games running on many TVs, which was great. This place is located in front of the most rough looking hotel and visited by the type of people that lived in it. I was embarrassed to bring my date here. Because of that, I won't be going back.

The food was this places saving grace. The service was awful. Took 30 minutes just to get our drinks, and when something we ordered wasn’t available, they waited till everyone else's food was out to tell us. Smh. Wouldn’t recommend if you don’t have all day to wait. Overall, great food but disappointing in the service.

Food wasn't as good as previous time there, chicken strips were almost all breading, my grilled chicken sandwich texture seemed like it was under cooked. I bite into it and felt rubbery. Will not be going back.

I went there with friends for dinner. We made a reservation because there were too many of us. We got the big platter of appetizers, and it was good. Their clam chowder soup was a superp. Our entrées were a faliure. The short ribs were lacking the bbq sauce, and you can tell that it was frozen before they cooked it. 2 of my friend who ordered the tritip steak, and they had to return it because it was super salty. My friend's chicken sandwich was greasy. The server was nice and helpful. The only good thing that we liked is their drinks were really good. I would come back only for drinks and snacks.

I stopped in there for a quickie.A drink worth my girl, and a quick bite to eat. Never been here before. Happened to stop in during happy hour. Had a couple drinks with "very decent prices" and about 10 tacos between me and mine..... the price tag was very acceptable "not expensive" as well as the waiter being very nice and prompt. Definitely be coming back

I make great ribs so I usually regret ordering ribs at a restaurant but not this time. Ribs were perfect. BBQ sauce could have been better with flavor options. Maybe some more spicy. Good thing the ribs really didn't need any extra sauce. They were great as they were served. Service was friendly. Price was not bad. Atmosphere was good. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

We were able to sit wherever we wanted, which was nice, we ordered drinks, a cucumber mule and a dbl tall coke and whiskey, the cucumber mule was terrible(never had one that was so bad), I sent it back. the whiskey was in a old fashion glass and only a single. We ordered the Moistmaker sandwich special...IT WAS AMAZING! We also ordered a side of fries (picture below) and almost got some...lol, but they were amazing tasting also.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free offer 2 days a week

Came in from out of town with my nieces soccer team. Our original space was still occupied by another team so they quickly made room elsewhere. The waitress was top notch for such a large party. She got every order right, was always smiling, and kept the beverages coming. It was a great experience for an out of towner.

Kitchen closes at 9! They should say that in advertisements. Only Fri and Sat are they open later. Drive 5 damn miles to get here. Really sux. Even used key words "late night eats"

Great pub located in centre of town with easy walking access from many hotels. Surprisingly large choice of craft beers on draught including porter and blonde. Staff friendly and food choice good. Can recommend chilli and chicken salad

Just visiting here in Bakersfield and this place is next to our hotel so we gave it a whirl. We ordered martinis and they were out of the gin we like but Julie the bartender was outstanding and let us try what they had. We went with Hendricks and they were perfect!! The happy hour mini pizza is absolutely fantastic and is plenty to have as a meal. My husband and I shared it so I ordered clam chowder for a meal and he got the tri-tip with grilled asparagus and potatoes. The Austin Hope Cabernet was delicious and the chowder might be the best I've ever had!!! My husband loved the tri tip and asparagus but said the potatoes would have been way better with some seasoning. Other than that, everything was pretty epic!! Julie was very attentive and checked on us often. Great spot!!

I enjoyed my time here. Great food, service, and desserts. It's hidden away but easy to find. Great for family enjoyment.

Drinks were good, but my food wasn't. While it wasn't necessarily bad, it wasn't anything to write home about. But the service and feel of the place was great too.
