Slow service on a Thursday night, My wife and I went out for dinner and got 2 "hand-held " dinners . Waited for the waitress, drinks, menus , food, and the bill. For a slow Thursday night, it took about 1.5 hours. McDonald's would have been better. Sorry

I have had many decent appetizers here. But I ordered the loaded cowboy fries. What a joke I don't know what stretch of their imagination that makes them loaded. The bacon consisted of a few chopped pieces of bacon that tasted like it was from breakfast maybe one piece chopped. The smoked cheddar had little to no smoke. Somebody may have walked past a smoker with the cheese in their pocket. I had to look for the cheese sauce. The chives were actual scallions and not chives. If going there do not get this. Oh and sit where a wait staff serves you. The bartender was too busy doing inventory and talking with other employees to refill your drink.

I came in for lunch today with my friend. This is the restaurant at the Padre Hotel. Our waitress introduced herself and told me her name was Kimberly. Kimberly did an outstanding job deserves praise.I ordered their basic cheeseburger with fries. It was pretty good. It is way overpriced at $18 but nevertheless it was good, just not worth $18.My friend ordered the sliders, and he said they were very good. Lunch and the service were exceptional.Downtown is filled with restaurants everywhere. I hope management takes note and realizes that their cheeseburger is overpriced .

We had a nice time at this small restaurant. It's located directly at the bar in The Padre Hotel. We had the Burger and Truffle Mushroom Carbonara. The pasta was very good and something that i never had before, the Burger was good as well. My only note is the patty itself needs to be alittle bit bigger, the bun and condiments over take the pattys size. Overall had a good time would recommend.

I have stopped into the BB on several different occasions. I always find a great choice to make from their menu. If we are headed to the FOX for a concert, it is a great before and/or after place. Excellent drink choices and flavors. They are always well made. We always have excellent service. My last trip there was while I was on Jury Duty. The lunch breaks are often 1.5-2 hours long and BB is within walking distance. I had a great wedge salad and iced tea. The perfect lunch. BB makes you feel as if you are in a bar they would portray in a movie. It's very classic and always comfortable. The layout allows you to sit with just 1 other or groups. There is also bar seating. It was more quiet during lunch but it was also easy to be there by myself.

The Padre hotel is the only game in town. When the grapevine got shut down, I booked it. Great staff, friendly. But OMG, the Fallafal burger was limp. I mean uncooked with a side of raw. Yuck.

Did not eat inside the restaurant itself because we travel with our fur baby.Their outdoor patio, where we were we told was pet friendly, apppeared not to be open because the furniture and tables where stacked. As well as the heaters pushed into one corner. We did eat on the rooftop. (see our reviews for The Padre) .Nice outdoor seating with heaters.Food served there was prepared downstairs at the Brimstone. Both parties had burgers and fries. One with regular fries and othe with truffle upgrade. Would we do the truffle up grade again, probably not worth it.Burgers where great.

I walked in at 11:30 and place was still hustling with movement. I sat at the bar where Andra recommended whiskey and sliders. After looking over the menu you, I took her advice and was very happy. Sliders had a animal style-esque to them, delicious. However, Andra was the star of the show. Really welcoming vibe while being attentive and professional. I will be back! Thanks Andra!

Our office frequents the landmark Padre Hotel often, as we are just down the street, so I've held off on reviewing just because it's a staple for us. My favorite item is the Chicken Pesto Panini although I've had their burgers, the grilled cheese and tomato soup and others. Every item that I've had was good, flavorful and of course, hot. Their truffle fries are my favorite, I typically get them with every dish. Their service is pretty quick, you don't wait long for a server to take your order and food usually comes out pretty quick unless it is a busy day -- lunch usually is busy. Brimstone itself is an awesome place, the decor is almost like an upscale cigar bar, it's very mid century modern and somewhat grand. They are in the expensive side but definitely worth the try.

Great service and server - made up for the menu transition where some main plates not available. He very graciously split a bill about 14 ways. Here for a conference.Poached pear salad was good, other dishes looked great. Located in historic hotel The Padre, spacious, windows, and great gathering option

We stopped by here on a whim while we were downtown. There was available parking.I ordered a Caesar Salad with chicken. It was good. The seasoning was good. But it was all room temperature, and there was little to no parmesan. The croutons were delicious! My husband got the Fish and Chips, and after tasting it, I was jealous! The fish was really, really good! The fries I'd definitely recommend. The coleslaw was just purple cabbage with mayo and sugar. Not good. The atmosphere is good. Service was good until the end when we had to wait 20 minutes to pay and leave.I'd go back for the Fish and Chips, as long as I wasn't in a hurry.
