Amazing food, I have now been here twice in about a week and both times I have enjoyed them. Their carry out is great as well as in service dining. Favorite thing so far is there won tong soup/slizzing rice soup! Best Chinese restaurant I will stand by that completely!

Old school genuine Chinese food!!! Can't find food like this anymore- the cook is skilled and has home grown cultural skills! I definitely ? love coming here with family or friends! ❣️❣️Restaurant is a little old but the food definitely makes up for the naturally wear and tear of place? Restaurant is run by two kind and loving ? couple. Prices are good, quantity of food is a lot, I always get extra food to take home?❤️

The best place for Chinese food. A married couple been operating this place for over 30 yrs. They are the only cooks for all that time. I was informed that when they retire the business will shut down. If you get a chance,I highly recommend this

I stopped and ate here for Christmas. I had the privilege and honor of speaking with the owner and we talked about life and family as he was also there alone. I was the last customer and James really was not planning on opening that day but something told him to. He has been serving this community for over 40 years and I felt the love and hospitality. Thank you!

Went in lady was welcoming, cant complain on the service too much. As for the food not the best in my opinion started with the crab ragoon it was too salty couldn't finish eating it which was disappointing since it looked great. I got the mushu pork and after the first bite could not finish it, idk if it was the sauce or who knows what but couldn't do it and still wonder why it was wrapped ina cold tortilla. Someone with me got the Mongolian beef, idk if it was meant to be that way but the noodles were crunchy and beef was cold. chow mein was aight, where they got off was on their fried rice. We had got some Pepsi it was flat, didnt like that we had to use the same plates for everything. Didn't like how lady said we should of asked for recommendations on what to eat after she saw that I couldn't finish my dish, I dont believe you should ask whats good when going out to eat, everything should be edible. I would say it give it a try, if you'd like, everyones experience may be different then mine.

That little hole in the wall, the best food is where less expected. I've been visiting this restaurant for 26 years already, and the food is always great. Unfortunely, the operation hours dont match reality, I've gone 6 times and the sign says they close at certain time, we go 3 hrs before and badabim...they are gone! I dont know why they do that.

Nice Chinese spot on the east side. Hunan beef was spicy.

I changed my review because I've been coming hear for years and years now and the food is usually consistently good. Last time and why i left a bad review prior to this one is because i got chow mien that was 3 meats and it was mostly just chicken and the chicken was full of grisle. Grisle as in the meat was full of rubbery tendence. when I called to complained I cant really say if they offered me a refund or not i couldnt understand much of what the lady was saying but it wasnt I'm sorry your noodles are full of grisly chicken meat. but I've been going to this place for years and minus a bad experience or two they're constantly great. I strongly suggest the walnut shrimp. Its delicious.

Great food, prices good, I talk to the owner, and he prepares fresh cut vegetables and meats for the day. This restaurant is East Bakersfield best kept secret. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The freshest and best Chinese you will ever eat in Bakersfield. No mass production. Soups are full of vegetables and meats and seafood. No watered down egg soup here. Small local business that needs our patronage. You won't regret it. Once people go, they go for years. Try it out.
