Went there for first time last night. Margaritas were $12.75 for a small one. Thought that's pricey & not a good margarita. I guess ask price before ordering.

Plate are about 15.00 and up. They have good cleaning as soon as customers are done. Waitress was nice the place has a nice ambiance and relaxing. Would like the portions match the price. Other than that the food is real Mexican taste.Vegetarian options: Chile rellenos is no meat plate.Wheelchair accessibility: Has tight parking yet the entrance is wheel chair accessible.

The Obondigas soup had too many carrots, and tasted like they dropped the cumin bottle in the meatballs. The guacamole was packaged, and if it was not they should really be ashamed for making guacamole so bland and thin. I had the pot beans to go with the soup and they were actually really good. The salsa was tasty like they poured the pkg of taco seasoning in it. I was really hungry so I munched out on the delicious chips and hot salsa. I don't like wasting my money so I also ate the guacamole. It is not the same food I have been used to getting from my past visits to El Sombrero Restaurant...maybe they are compromising quality because the cost of food has gotten so expensive.

Quick lunch service, great servers.Food is bland and boring. There is no seasoning anywhere.The sombrero is expensive for the ingredient's quality. Basic mexican pantry food starting at $17, plus the drink means you'll pay $23 per person for the blandest meal you'll have.

For their price a few months ago, of $9.99 combo plate WITH a drink, it was good (portions are small) , but the new combo price withOUT a drink and same small portions for $16 - 18 dollars?! I cant afford it and the portions aren't worth the price. The couple next to me was thinking the same thing....both ended up ordering side of beans and rice, not coming back. Can't afford this place anymore.
The food was delicious, we had never been here before and saw the parking lot full on multiple occasions so we told ourselves they must Know something that we don't, the atmosphere inside was great, there were multiple waiters all over the place helping people, we met the owner she was walking around greeting people, such a lovely lady, she was explaining the 50 plus years of rich history at the El Sombrero, we were disappointed we hadn't stopped by sooner after her explanation of how her and her husband started the business, we love supporting local establishments, the food was great, my wife got the chicken and steak fajitas and I got the chicken enchiladas, we both couldn't finish our food as the portions are more than generous and I got a strawberry margarita and it was mixed to perfection, thank u el Sombrero for hanging in there and staying open all these years ?

It’s a *special* kind of heartbreak when your VERY favorite restaurant’s prices have soared AND the food quality has tanked. $31 for a large order of chips and salsa? I was so shocked at the price (which wasn’t quoted on the phone when we called the order in - that should’ve been our FIRST clue) that my brain straight stalled upon hearing the price at the pickup! Bruh. STOP THE INSANITY! Never again. I’ll miss you, El Sombrero. We had a good 25 year run. I guess the old saying is true-you can’t go home again. Hmph. More like I’ll STAY home and cook mydamnself.

I eat here from time to time. It's always consistent and practically the same food as my restaurant where I am a server. The waitresses are very professional and fast. The owners look strict. I heard the waitresses and other staff cannot talk to customers. Loll. They would fire me. I love talking to my customers. I would like to thank the kind young man who cleaned up my mess. Im a klutz and he was very kind and fast. Thank you! Sorry about my attire. I do dog rescue on my days off. Next time I will switch out my muddy boots. Thank you for great service!

This restaurant holds many memories for my husband's childhood. The food is good and the owners are friendly. There is a very good fast and efficient staff running the place. We never have a problem finding quick sitting and quick service. The restaurant is my loud and high energy. It's a fun place for dinner.
