We were there by chance on our road trip and were looking for a rodizio/steakhouse and came across this tasteful restaurant and have to say...The food was great, the meat was excellent and the service was very friendly and accommodating - we had a lovely, enjoyable evening - absolutely recommended! ?

First of all it's a buffet. Nothing against buffets. We were in the mood for a delicious dinner. Buffets are not really are thing. All the meats were overcooked.... I'm not sure how this place has so many stars. This was truly the worst meal I had in bakersfield. The service was amazing. The restaurant is beautiful. The cuts of meat are cheap. The salad bar was the best part. If sizzler's and benihana's had a baby... it would be this place. Ohhhh.... $150 for 2 beers and buffet admission.

We were seated outside, wife tells me inside was very, very nice.We all ordered the buffet style, my wife loved the salad bar.I went straight carnivore style and really enjoyed everything served, some meats overdid it on the salt but a few slices aren't a big deal. The one I remember the most is the BBQ pork belly, it was delicious! But generally speaking if you love meat, you'll love this place. I certainly did.Restaurant was not busy so the service was excellent!

The first time my family came here to eat was on a Wednesday morning, snd the server was very lovely who explained everything to us. She was very friendly, refilled our waters multiple times and brought us refills of the banana and cheese bread. We got the lunch rodizio priced at about $35 per person. The picanha and the grilled pineapple were our favorites and left us so full. Our second time coming was today for my mom's birthday and we were highly disappointed by the service. The food was alright, but our server was not serving us at all. We had to flag our server down through one of the waitresses cleaning the tables nearby. We would have understood if the place was packed, but it was only 1/4 of the way filled, and she would tend to others' tables but not ours. We asked for a refill of the bread, and she only gave us two pieces, saying they were baking more, only to never come back, but others were served the bread immediately after being seated (we had to ask midway through our meal if they still served the bread). I was extremely disappointed. I would not go here on a busy day again.

Pretty decent Brazilian bbq. Service was great and food was good. Be sure to use reservation system through open table on Google maps for prompt seating during busy day/time.

REALLY love this place. We chose the Dinner Rodizio and the meat brought out on skewers was 9/10. Some meats were better than others, only had a few that were dry and not perfectly cooked. The included buffet bar was meh, not bad just didn't impress like the meats. I will definitely go back. I want to give the Tomahawk steak a try next. Only reason it didn't receive perfect score was the bar should be closer to the level the meat is at.

The food was wonderful!! From the meats to the market table to the drinks and desserts. There was not one thing we did not like. The waiters and waitresses as well as the kitchen staff were friendly and attentive. Our waiter's name was Valentino, one of the servers was Shawn, and they both made sure we had what we needed and were so great providing outstanding service. Up until this point, the restaurant gets a 10 out of 10 from us. I will point out that where the service fell short was one hostess in particular. I did not get her name, but she was rude. The initial hostess that checked us in was wonderful, but the second was snobby and rude. The dress code was not enforced which was surprising because that second hostess had no trouble scanning my husband and I (and other guests who walked in while we waited) from top to bottom asking what we needed as we patiently waited for our name to be called (we had already checked in with a lovely lady) even though we were nicely dressed for our date night, but when a young man walked in wearing sweats, a sweatshirt, and house slippers, she did not seem to mind at all or question the attire. In my opinion, the lack of enforcement of the dress code does minimize the overall experience. When it is expressed so explicitly on the website that "Admittance to Flame & Fire is at the discretion of management who reserves the right to refuse service to patrons who are inappropriately dressed regardless of the reservation status" and that is enforced for some, but not all guests, the otherwise delicious and enjoyable experience is tainted with a feeling of judgement. We spent the same, if not more, money on our meals and drinks than that young man, but were judged way more harshly by the hostess.

I really and truly love this place. The service is always great, the salad bar is 10/10 but the MEAT?!? The meat is insane! I have never had a bad experience here and I have been at least 8 times. It’s worth every penny and you won’t regret it! Got the caramel brûlée and it was awesome too!

The food was very delicious in so many ways from choosing the Dinner Rodizio- the all you can eat salad bar/ horderves bar/ cold or hot side dishes bar /and the on-going serving of every different kinds of meat recipes- from beef, pork, lamb, and chicken. The ambience was just beautiful and wonderful. The noise level was not too bad, just normal for a busy wonderful restaurant. But most importantly, the service was outstanding! Our server was always constantly checking up on us and serving our own self-brought Martinelli's Sparkling Cider that was in a bucket of ice that they provided for us upon our request through the whole dinner night. And the guys in red shirts who kept on coming over and over with different kinds of meats, were just super great. And ending our special Wedding Anniversary dinner celebration, there was a complimentary dessert with our delicious meal. That was just to die for, just freakin delicious! Everything from the food, to the ambiance, and the on-going service was just absolutely worth coming!

What a joke. Was really excited to try this place. Made a reservation a few days prior for 7:30. Got there about 7:10 and got a drink in the bar. Was sat right about 7:30. No server or anyone except for maybe the owner or a manager at one point to ask how we were doing and told him no one had come to us yet. Finally at 7:55 we decided it was time to just leave. Yes they were busy but two other tables in our area were sat after us and already had plates of food from their fancy buffet. Was really excited about the dinner, just too bad.
