Going through Bakersfield and found this Chinese restaurant so here we are! We ordered two dishes and they were delicious! The service was also good! The decor was from the 60's.

Great food but horrible service! They were so rude and we felt rushed to eat. I'm waiting five minutes for them to take a my card so I can leave and five people walked by it and haven't grabbed it. They even grabbed plates from my table (note that it wasn't busy). I'd come here again but they need better service. I'd also recommend this place but like I said better service

We like this place. The food is great. Any of the staff who interacted with us were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is kinda cozy. You'll get your money's worth with any plate ordered for sure because the servings are very generous. This place has been here for so long and still doing great.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian plates

Be aware this place has a roach infestation. Must not be very clean, had they cleaned properly they could have prevented big roaches ending up in the fried rice. Roaches could have been in other dishes too but blend in with the dark sauce so hard to notice them. Bon appetite!

This place seemed okay at first. For the first time my family of 4 would have been trying this place. There was a a signed placed at the door they closed at 3; we arrived at 2:15 and was sat down not even 10 minutes goes by and one lady which we didn't know if she was a server or anything that had to do with the restaurant asked us if we were ready to order and we said no that we needed a little bit more time since this is our first time and proceeds to look at us and says "well you need to hurry up it's almost 3 and we close at 3 I have a sign" I just proceeded to say okay and I grabbed me and my family and left. We were stopped by a nice lady who told us to stay but I told her no because the lady told us to hurry up and it's almost 3pm and she proceeded to say "it's okay this family was sat down and it's almost 3pm." I told her it's okay that we would return back when it's not close to 3 and we won't be rushed. She apologized to us but I told her it's not her fault and everything was ok. But in reality that was really rude of the other lady who had told us to hurry up. Personally for my experience I do not want to go back.

It's the best in Bakersfield the food is authentic. The owner is hands on with the customer and the place it nice the decor looks great you want Chinese food this is the place. I just did my kids dinner birthday there for 10 people and it was amazing

We had a great meal here tonight. It was nice to try a classic Bakersfield restaurant before it closes for good.Kid-friendliness: They tried to make my kids comfortable. My youngest is 5 at this time. There really isn't a kid's menu that I could see, but my kids were willing to try everything they offered tonight.
The staff was greeted us as we walked in and sat us to a table quickly. Got our drinks and waited for our food, and everything was cooked perfectly and delicious.

Zero stars. Poor customer service experience. An older lady at the desk insisted on a tip and seemed upset about the amount left. Unorthodox and uncomfortable experience. Won't be returning.

This is my 1st time visiting and I didn't like that I had to purchase items separately. Shrimp fried rice had no flavor. I had to add soy sauce. The shrimp was good. But $20 for a plate of flavorless shrimp fried rice? ? And I asked for pork chow mei and I got shrimp Chow Mei and all for $32.50?!?! Never again. I rather go to panda Express and call it a day
