I took my husband for his birthday. He was disappointed with the bone in New York. He said it was very grizzly and not what he typically gets when we go to KC. My filet was delicious but a lot smaller than I've had in the past. The baked potatoes weren't even cooked to perfection. He did love the Oreo cake. The staff was friendly as always. It was just a bad night in the kitchen.

The food was good , however, the bar is too close to regular dining and while I was there eating , I kept hearing drunk men vulgarly speaking to the waitresses , and the waitress kept the conversation going. I specifically heard a man talking loudly about having sex in the back of the car to an employee there asking her if she’s ever done so. Not a professional atmosphere at all. Made my experience very uncomfortable.

Went in with a large party (10 people) that had a reservation. Minimal drinks and apps ordered and food didn't land on the table for 1.5 hours after we had all been sat. The meat was cooked well except for the prime rib. That was super cold. Sides were massively underwhelming. You would figure for a $35-$60 steak the side dishes better be on point. Nope, single ice cream scoop of garlic mashed potatoes and canned green beans. Side salad was an extra 5 or 6 bucks. A homeless guy walked in as well off of F street and was messing around near the hostess stand before they noticed him and ran him off. Shocked our cars didn't get the ol smash and grab treatment. I get why the place is popular, it feels a bit like a time machine taking you back to a nostalgic smoke filled restaurant of the 70s or something but honestly for the price, I won't be coming back

Bread is so generic white bread blah! Vegetarian option is greasy pasta with a couple pieces of vegetables. Seriously no imagination in this kitchen. Chairs are hard, squeaky and old. Not a good place for healthcare events.People served completely separately.

Whatvlooks like.it should be an old strip club turned out to be a cool steak house. Drinks are good, service is good and food is just as good as the above. Had the stuffed chicken. Unfortunately it's a chicken cordon bleu. Nothing special when it could be so much more. Don't get me wrong it was good for what it was but just nothing that stood out as stupendous. Anyway overall it's a great spot and look forward to returning to this place.

Came in a while back, was before Christmas. Service was very friendly, we were sat at a table quickly and had our drinks not long after sitting. The place was decorated for Christmas, top to bottom, was very festive, definitely cool. The food was made correctly and in a decent amount of time. I really enjoyed my food, don't usually get steak, but it was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend this place and will be back in the future.Parking: Parking is behind building, and an extra lot near by, is kinda sketchy at night, but they did have an employee back there keeping an eye out on things
