The pictures don't do this place justice. I'm so glad I discovered Kellys as I was giving up on Bakersfield being able to provide authentic home cooked Indian and fusion food. You can't beat the prices too. I had a few friends coming to town so I ordered the butter chicken (highly recommended- it's light and flavorful unlike other places that use heavy amounts of butter and food coloring), nihari, shish kabab wrap combo, two tacos and four naans plus rice. The five of us ate for $49. Absolutely delicious and value for money. I will definitely be coming back here- thank you again!

Fantastic! I had been itching to try something new lately so I did a little searching and stumbled on this place. I'm a big fan of Indian food so I jumped at the opportunity to try something new and exciting. I ordered the chicken tikki masala and some veggie samosas as I'm a huge fan of samosas. The chicken was great, it was very well seasoned, the cook was good and the flavor was outstanding. I really enjoyed it, the rice was a little overcooked but it happens, no worries. The only reason for the one star loss was I ordered veggie samosas so I could share with my wife who's vegetarian and I got meat samosas. A little disappointed about that but otherwise they are great and have just the right amount spice, I'll be returning.

Oh god this place is horrible! We ordered chicken tikka masala combos and it was gross! How can u even call that chicken tikka masala they do not know how to make authentic food. The kababs we got were Kababs they heated up in the microwave. Seriously I would never come back here. The people who did enjoy this place don’t knw what good real authentic food is.

I think they don’t have an honest business practice, whatever price you see in the menu is different from the price you pay after you eat. They didn’t tell you they raise the price. So dishonest. Also, my husband and I both had diarrhea later on that day. Luckily it wasn’t very terrible but we both swear that we won’t go back again!
