I came to this place on a recommendation; I have to say it did not disappoint. The food tasted classic and filling. Made my tummy feel warm and happy. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I ate the breakfast fried steak and it was delicious and fresh meat. Not frozen. Thank you for a great experience I'll be back for more.

I went to Lorraine's several years ago and I had the most memorable sandwich that I always wanted to go back. I'm sure I made a review back then, but this is a new review. The sandwich that I got isn't on the menu anymore or they changed the name of it. But they made it anyways And they did change it to spinach instead of sprouts. I can honestly say that it was better before, and I probably won't get it again, but it was convenient for the day. The waitress was nice it was reasonably priced. I have no issues with it. I just liked it more the previous time I had it.

I love the Veggie omelette and salsa here at Loraine's. The service is great! We Love to have our family breakfast here. It's affordable and they have tables to accommodate 10 of us. The people and ambience is friendly which makes for a pleasant experience.

I went in today for lunch spur of the moment. I did not know where I wanted to go and I decided to come here, it been a few years in person. I went at a great time because most of the lunch crowd had already dispersed and I was able to take a lot of pictures. Service was outstanding, friendly, food was good, brought right out it was just what I needed. Plus I did not know there is a 55 and older senior menu. Prices are very reasonable! Considering everything else is expensive at other restaurants. If you haven't been here you must, it's always been a hidden gem of bakersfield..
Eggs were not cooked to order. No quality check from waitstaff. Generally run down and dirty decor. Cannot recommend.

We've been coming here every Thursday for awhile now and really enjoy coming here. The service is great and our waitress is very friendly and brings our food right away. I love this sandwich it's so good, the only thing is the fries have no salt when it comes to the table and I'm having to salt them myself. Sounds like nitpicking when I actually write this but fries need seasoning. It's my only complaint. I'll continue to come here. One thing I do appreciate is the ambience, you can hear yourself think and talk, you don't have to get loud to hear each other.
