Traveling for work and had a craving for Tlacoyos. I was in luck and found Los Tlaxcaltecas. They are now located at N St and 18th St in Bakersfield. If you are in the area pay them a visit and if you happen to be there on Valentine's Day ask for the Gordita for an awesome surprise!

I travel around the Bakersfield area doing video reviews of taco trucks, taco shops, and anything else I think will be good. So I've been to a few taco trucks, and this one rates up there with the best. This might not seem like much, but they make their own Jamaica. From scratch. And it's hands down the best I've ever had. If you like Jamaica, stop by this truck and get some. But don't pass by their food. It's not the standard tacos and burritos. This is some different items, from a bit farther south than most places. Things like Tlacoyos. They kind of remind me of a pupusa, topped with a good chunk of white cheese, with lots of flavor. Sincronizada, which is a kind of fried sandwich. Tortas are also really good, with a variety of different things you can have stuffed in there. The owner/operator is a super nice guy, who will answer any question you might have about his food. He takes pride in his food and his truck, and it shows.

Really friendly and fast service. Amazing carne asada tacos. Salsa is great. Horchata is good and icy. They take card and mobile payment!

Wow! We are picky eaters, especially my husband. I just moved here from Mexico and guys, these tacos are pretty darn good! Some of the best I've tried in this country.

I was near the area, stopped by this taco truck called Los Tlaxcaltecas. Ordered the Tlacoyos, which I've never heard of. First time ever trying this dish. It is a hand made masa stuffed with beans or your choice of meat, topped with cheese and onion. It comes with 3 for $9. Definitely worth it. It was so delicious, I recommend this place if you're around the area. Must try.

Not at address posted wasted gas and time. Don't bother leads you to a apartment complex with no tacos in sight

I've been coming to this Taco truck since they moved to the Brundage location and my husband & I love their tacos. Very authentic and the salsas pair perfectly with the tacos. The green sauce is my favorite! I knocked one Star ⭐ due to the fact that the hours never match up with the site and you have to always call to see if they're even posted out there on some days.

The best torta al pastor I've ever had. I ordered the "Torta Brava" with everything except mayo and added some of their nuclear-green colored salsa and the far spicier red salsa provided with meal. I ate a perfect sandwich today: the meat a smokey rotisserie-kissed pork offset with the sweet pineapple for balance. Toppings including lettuce, fresh red onion, pickled jalapeno, and aguacate are present and noticeable, not overwhelming but enhancing flavors with added textures and notes of savory, spicy, and sour. The torta is completed with melted cheese and toasted bun. The al pastor recipe's 100+ year journey from Lebanon, through Mexico, to my plate picking up touches and hints along the way was done justice by Los Tlaxcaltecas. New location on Brundage in the indoor swap parking lot.
