Without a doubt Miyoshi Sushi is the best Place for Sushi in and around Bakersfield. The venue is not large but in a decent neighborhood. The service is right on point and most of all, the food. These guys have no competition. The fish is fresh and the prep is consistently beautiful for presentation. The only complaint I have is the same complaint that most people have in these times. It is expensive. We're talking Prime Rib expensive if you would like to have enough food in front of you. $18 for a roll, ouch. No Edamame, no miso, nothing. With tip your looking at $25 to leave hungry. This is getting all to common for the sushi restaurants nowadays. I think that the cost of a cup of miso and a Grip of edamame would not break the bank and I know that I would feel better using these inexpensive items to mitigate the price.

Our favorite sushi restaurant in town ... food is excellent. The rice is so hot and delicious. Sushi is always fresh and flavorful. Miso soup warms your body ... took my boy on a sushi date and he said 10/10 must try again. Service is friendly and prompt. Great for lunch dates , dinner with hubby or friends ... This was a Door Dash deliver order. It was packed carefully and arrived in perfect condition on time. Excellent quality sushi and sashimi. Generous slices of fresh fish. Miyoshi roll was huge and delicious. Next time, we will do fine in.

One of my favorite spots in town for rolls! I do wish they still had their old location open @ the marketplace on Ming! Used to go there all the time during my csub yrs. I remember they used to serve jap chae and delicious ice teas and ramens!

Food is amazingly fresh, beautiful sushi every time-but it's the service that brings us back! Yuki and Angela are so warm and welcoming. We sat at the bar today and had Tempura shrimp rolls with masago on top with light rice (special request) and the Love Fire roll. Seems like we always have enjoyed ordering the same thing in the past and I really enjoy bringing my mother here for a treat. If we trust the quality maybe you should too! They close from 2-5 so mind their special schedule mid day. Here are some photos to display what a cool experience we had!
