Small little restaurant. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but the food was very good. We had the combo fajitas and a side order of ceviche. Came out with warm tortillas that I swear were the best I've ever had. No sour cream or cheese with them, but did get guacamole. Service was very slow. If you are in a hurry or on a lunch break I wouldn't recommend. We say for 20 minutes waiting for our order to be taken. Once it was taken food came out quickly. Took another 15 minutes for us to get the check when done. Worth a visit, just plan to have time to wait.

Located downtown at the former home of the original La Costa. The food is excellent and was actually rated as having the #1 tacos in the state of California by Thrillist internet magazine. IMO best tacos in the state is a bit of hyperbole because seriously California is an awful big state. Everything I have tasted here is great. Service is fine but I prices here are a bit higher than other similar style places in Bako. I do prefer them to the overrated guys a couple blocks to the to the south. Their name rhymes with Texacali.

Picked this place off Yelp on a gamble. We were hungry and in an unfamiliar place. The restaurant and staff were a pleasant surprise. Our waitress served us promptly and kept checking back with us, and the food was excellently prepared and done as we requested. A pleasant dining experience.

Food was decent maybe a bit overpriced for the portions but pretty tasty. The only problem I had was that the deep fried ice cream wasn’t fresh. The outside was stale and if it was fresh the ice cream would be melty which it wasn’t. But we ate it anyways.

Stopped by for lunch. I liked the atmosphere. The staff were great. Professional helpful and service was prompt. We tried one of the lunch specials and the fajita salad. Enjoyed both and will return to try more menu items in the future.

The only reason for a four star review this time versus a five star, is I always order the 3 chicken enchilada plate no rice, double beans. I got rice this time. Oh well will check before leaving next time.
