Great fun -If you want to karaoke in a country atmosphere , this is the place for you. The gal running the music can sing pretty darn good ( I made a request, and she nailed it). Even though I'm not a singer, I had fun listening to some good talent.Didn't eat there. It was fairly busy and well organized.

I decided to come into this bar after hearing my dad talk about going there through the years! Hed told me a million stories, and he always spoke so highly of the little honkeytonk out on old river. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this bar. But i will absolutely NOT go back!! The Bartenders (who dress as lazily as they work) are ONLY concerned about the men they can flirt with that sit at the bar! I waited 30 minutes to order a drink! I watched the karaoke girl run up to the bar twice and back to the stage between songs. The third time she came up, she still waited ten minutes to be served, while the Bartenders sat on the other side of the bar TALKING instead of serving! I've never known a bar not to take care of their entertainment FIRST, AND QUICKLY! All while I stood there STILL waiting to be served! After finally getting a beer, I sat down and enjoyed a little bit of karaoke (the greatest part of my experience). The host was entertaining and had an amazing voice, kept the energy up, got people dancing, and shuffled through singers quickly! If I could rate just her, I would give her FIVE stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Whilst sitting there, I NEVER saw anyone come out to wait tables or clean up except for the kitchen staff who (attentive as he could be) looked like he was being run ragged! They are so lazy they leave a water jug on the counter for you to fill your own water!They charged $5 for a soda, which was OUTRAGEOUS! I had a soda for my friend and 4 coors bottles in the time I was there. When I went to close out my tab, it was $56!!! I asked the bartender for a detailed receipt, and she tried to give me the run around telling me what I had ordered! I had to tell her again to give me a receipt! She charged me $10 a beer!(again, i had 4 coors bottles), and she rang up an extra $10 beer on my tab and a $5 soda!!!!Needless to say, the Karaoke is fantastic, and sets the entire mood for the bar (i would definitely go to a different bar for her show), but the staff gouges you for money, refuses to take care of customers without a seat, stick, and wallet book, they are ridiculously lazy, and (from an outside perspective) it doesn't look like they take care of their kitchen staff or their contracted Entertainment! Will not be returning! And I surely will NEVER recommend this bar to anyone!!Parking: No designated parking spots, and people park everywhere like jerks!

Top tier food, service and drinks. Everyone is welcomed there. Line dancing Wednesdays, Karaoke Thursdays, Fridays and Live bands on Saturdays. Kids are welcomed until 9pm.
Monte Carlo is myself and my family's favorite place to hangout and the food is amazing. We were one of the first one's on the first day they open. We were one of the first on opening day to place our dollar bill. The bands are good and karaoke is fun. It's an ok "dive bar" id say, updated from what it used to look like but not really updated. I'd say I've been here twice in the past 2 years and only because a friends nvr been to it and they had live music the first time which was a mediocre band for a bar scene. Bar tenders not too knowledgeable on mix drinks. Parking sucks, it being a small area specifically when 119hwy is the only road when trying to get get in or out or the parking lot.
