Farewell Romano's, you guys were amazing. It's a shame that the staff weren't told ahead of time about the closure

My husband and I went around 530pm.It did not seem to be busy at all. Our waiter was very friendly. I want to state that my review is based on this one time only, Macaroni Grill is a beautiful place, perhaps they were short staffed, and perhaps the cook was not having a great day when we went. Once we put our order in, we waited a little over an hour. Once we received our food, there was little to no flavor on my plate or my husband's. We had to add a lot of salt and pepper to give our food flavor. The fettuccine pasta may be sat for a while, some stuck to each other. The fettuccine sauce was sooooo watery and thin. The sauce was like soup. The best part of the meal was perhaps the bread, which was alright.

Disappointed in our visit tonight. They didn't have the rosemary bread, out of lasagna and finding a sweet mixed drink just was a fail.(Heard from server telling a different table that Rosemary bread is out. Didn't inform us when giving us plain bland bread.)Parmesan on only red sauce? Because it wasn't offered with our white sauce dishes.Mac n cheese was a little dark and kinda dry on top.Fettuccine Alfredo was bland and the chicken was dried out.Asked for a 5 oz moscato but on bill charged me for an 8 oz. Gentlemen was very polite took it back and changed the amount.Do they not write their names upside down anymore? This restaurant use to be a favorite of ours, now we just don't know if it is an off night or is it more of the post COVID changes. On top of that, it seems there may be a problem with cleanliness because when we moved plates there was rings of black from on the plate. Looks like soot. Pretty gross. When we had arrived the waiter said it would be about 3 minutes before he could seat us because he needed to clear a table. There was clearly empty tables...Along with that there were easily 6 tables of people who had left and their dirty dishes were still there. Tables that didn't have people there when we arrived, meaning the plates had been sitting for however long before we got there, on top of the half hour to an hour we spent at the restaurant. We will keep in mind though that there did seem to be only 2 waiters working. So we will cut them some slack but this was still unacceptable. To explain further on the Lasagna... our waiter sat us and later came to get drink order. Once we got our drinks including the sour alcohol beverage when asked for sweet, we were ready to order food. To which one of us ordered the Alfredo and the other the lasagna. Only then did the waiter tell us that their shipment that was supposed to arrive Thursday, hadn't arrived yet so they didn't have the proper supplies to make lasagna. Hearts were set on that lasagna by that point. Broken hearted we had to turn back to the menu and attempt to find something else. We even contemplated asking for the check and leaving. But we decided to just order there and make lasagna ourselves one day. The waiter should have said something about being out of something the second he sat us.This was easily the worst experience we have had here!! We don't plan to ever go back to this establishment. This experience was so mortifying.

It's the chef's fault. The restaurant was mostly empty which we thought was due to the holiday. My husband ordered a steak and fettuccine. I ordered a bib and blue salad with dressing on the side and crispy Brussels sprouts. Unfortunately they "ran out if linguini noodles(!). What? This is an Italian restaurant with about 10 people in it. So my husband changed his order to a pasta with shrimp. It came floating in a pool of oil. I had to send my salad back because it came flooded in dressing. The chef didn't read the note about dressing on the side. So, i decided to eat the Brussels sprouts while waiting for the salad. But, they were tough as leather! Inedible. They were clearly not roasted. They were obviously fried raw. So, I sent those back. The server said this was the "third" time this happened with the sprouts! When was the chef going to make any correction? ! The manager said he "adjusted" the dressed salad off the bill (which I had ordered with dressing on the side). But, he left the uneaten Brussels sprouts on the bill. He said he "spoke to the chef). The best thing were our wines. Good labels and properly chilled. We actually liked the manager and our server who took credit for all the errors. We didn't believe for a minute that it was her fault. We could see the chef in the open kitchen, especially when she walked down to the end of the kitchen and gave me the stink eye. My husband's back was to her. We didn't want to demand restitution as it was bad enough. Plus it was our 31st wedding anniversary and we decided to have a sense of humor about it all. But, we will never return. I feel sorry for the customers and the servers who have to put up with bad food served up by s crummy chef. It's the chef's fault. Our server, Vivi did an excellent job. We had a reservation for 8 and our table was ready and waiting for us upon arrival. The food however, was disappointing and not the quality we had experienced on previous visits.

Placed a to go order was 2 1/2 hours late picking it up Brian the store manager was very kind kept my food, warm and greeted us with excellent customer service! By far the best service I’ve ever received. Also, the mac & cheese bites were delicious!

My first time dining at Macaroni Grill....was a very underwhelming experience. I always had the impression it was a nicer place than an Olive Garden and I was very wrong! First, they had no coffee as they were waiting on a shipment per the waitress. In my food service experience, you run to smart and final and buy some so patrons can have coffee. Second, they had no spoons unless you wanted plastic to go spoons. We asked the waitress why they had no spoons and she joked people must be throwing them away. Third, while the bread was late getting to the table but fresh out of the oven (very tasty) the side of alfredo sauce for a table of 3 was served in a small plastic to-go ramekin. Lastly, food was lack luster in taste, the plating looked like a kid did it and was unappealing, mashed potatoes were flat and runny on the plate and food took forever to come out even though the place was not even close to busy. Not sure how long this place will be around but I have no plans to ever return.

Made reservations for fathers day. Had a little mishap with our order but Jenn went above and beyond to rectify the issue. We will definitely come again. Food was excellent, portions fair but service was top notch.

First time having food from this establishment. I don’t ever eat from any restaurant that has less than 4 stars. I don’t think the fettuccine was authentically made. It tasted like boxed fettuccine. My husband orders spaghetti and 2 of his meatballs were a little frozen in the middle. This food is like cafeteria food. My serving of fettuccine was a child serving. I am very disappointed with our food. I do not recommend. I will not be ordering food from this establishment in the future.

My family went to Macaroni grill last night. My father stated the hostess did more than any of the wait staff. He said they waited 35 minutes to get a table when at least 15 tables were empty. Then it took an hour to actually get their food. He said the food was good but not hot only warm. The wait staff spent more time talking to people than waiting the tables. My dad asked the hostess several times for different things since the wait staff never came back. He ended up giving the wait staff a $1.00 tip since all they did was take the order and finally deliver slightly warm food. He gave the actual dinner tip to the hostess since she basically did all the work. He said he won't be returning until he sees that the restaurant is under new management because this management stinks! He also will be telling anyone who listens to run, not walk away from the restaurant in the mean time!

Our server, Veronica was so amazing. She had great knowledge of texture with May help to try my kid a new food. She made my son feel so happy and comfortable. We beat the rush hour so we got the placeTo ourselves.

I ordered from this place on UberEats. First impression.. not so good. I got a totally different entrée than what I originally ordered; which was the Italian Meatball Bowl including th lasagna bites that was added on. I'm missing that entire part of my order and received something else ?

Server was trying her best. Waited 1.5 hrs for food and this place was not packed. For a Friday night. The obvious half empty parking lot should of been a red flag. food wasn't very good either. Do not recommend

We had a party of 12 on a Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was amazing! Not only did she get everyone's order perfect, but she also did it without writing down anything! Plus she was perfectly attentive, making sure everyone was well taken care of. This will be our go-to restaurant for large dinners from now on for sure.
