Every single plate of food I've tried it's always so yummy! Service is 10/10 really friendly, the ambiance there makes you feel so comfortable noise level is good, overall 10/10

Amazing things to say about this place. My husband and I were driving through Bakersfield on our way to LA, we opted to stop here and although they were about to close, the owner didn’t turn us away, she welcomed us. The food was delicious and we didn’t feel rush.Great place!

The best pupusas in town! They are make them fresh and packed with ingredients and flavor. We ordered pupusas revueltas and con frijol y queso both delicious! We also ordered yuca con chicharron and they are not stingy with the portions! Found our new Salvadorian restaurant!

A wonderful food experience. The flavors from the salsa to the horchata tease the taste buds in a brilliantly unique way.The food here is by far the best overall Latino food that I have tasted and all of Bakersfield. That being said, the staff that were on duty the day that I visited spoke primarily Spanish but seem to have a basic understanding of what I asked for. However, they were very inattentive to my table. Twice, I had to get up and ask for something. I think that's stem from the language barrier more than it did from their lack of professionalism .The atmosphere was a bit antiquidated and slightly cramped. You get the feeling that they purchased this building or are renting it because it's cheap. And the arrangement does not do their food the justice it deserves. That being said, it is very clean. From the entrance way, to the restrooms, it is clear they take care for their sanitation. It was a little pricey, but not a reasonable - especially for the quality.Kid-friendliness: Their children's menu is basic, but covers the most commonly ordered food by children including hamburgers and nuggets.

I haven't been here in a very long time. They have redone the inside, and it looks way better than before. Very clean. We all walked in and was sat down with menus. Our waitress couldn't speak english so she had to get someone to help her. They were both very nice and did a great job. Our table ordered a kids quesadilla, a kids enchilada, 2 plates of the enchiladas, a shrimp plate, some tacos, a molcajete bowl, I wanted to order the Carne guisada with potato and carrots, but they were out so I went for the steak ranchero. We all agreed that the rice was better than the last place we tried Salvadoran. The beans were ok. The people who ordered the enchiladas said they were okay. The sauce had no flavor. The shrimp plate was good. The molcajete was good and my steak ranchero had a good flavor.

If i could give zero stars, i would. I am still waiting for my food to get here. I don't believe it should take 2 hrs to get 5 pupusas with four families in the restaurant. Some of them are barely getting their food.

My wife and I we were driving down California avenue in we said hey that used to be the old IHOP back in the '80s It was a Mexican restaurant so is that what the heck let's try it out we were pretty much surprised The ambience in there is pretty nice and quiet it's nice the way they got it set up Nice cozy little spot Food is on point food is very hot and I was very surprised with the flavor of the meat and the omelet The horchata is definitely on point Love that drink The service was on point also I mean it's not that big of a fancy joint but hey if you want to fill your belly with some pretty good food it's a pretty good nice quaint place to go You need to check it out

Wow!!! Found this gem on Yelp and came because of the reviews. The rating is well deserved. Everything the four of us had was delicious and the servings so generous we couldn't eat it all. The handmade corn and flour tortillas are a rare treat. The fried plantains were delicious as was the menudo with a big pata in each serving. The pupusas of course were excellent. Definitely don't miss coming here!
