Rosedale location seems to be going downhill a bit. I have had problems with my last 3 orders all within the last 2 months. A few weeks ago I got a saltys special that was cut in half with what it seemed like was 2 different types of buns pushed together like it was 1. Then the time before that my saltys special came with no coleslaw or bbq sauce at all. Now I just had a saltys special (2/13/24) that may have a tablespoon of coleslaw on top. Had to buy an additional side of coleslaw. Disappointing to see since the food is usually always delicious with good portions

Solid bbq spot on Rosedale Hwy, if going at lunch hour plan to wait but usually well worth it. Brisket and tri tip is my go to but the pulled pork is decent as long as you use a little sauce. Definitely can taste the wood and smoke.

This is one of the best bbq in Bakersfield! The only genuine problem i have is that the atmosphere/seating is kinda annoying, to be hearing the cars all the time.
I enjoy their pulled pork sandwich, and their rice pilaf side is my favorite. There is a bit of a wait for the food, but it's because everything is made fresh. There isn't a whole lot of seating, so I take my order to go typically. Parking is on a dirt lot but there is plenty of it.

A chill outdoor atmosphere, side portions I wish were bigger, I didn't care for the potato salad, but the spicy Mac was good, the meat portion was good, and I guess that's kinda all that matters.Parking: Slightly dangerous parking situation, gotta be careful pulling in and out.
