Used to be good! Ordered lots of tacos last night and they were inedible, pastor meat was so old and burnt. Cabeza tacos tasted like water, NO flavor. Received 2 lemon wedges for 12+ tacos. Tortillas were very hard and gross. I understand they were probably slow but that is no reason to give your customers old burnt flavorless meat that was most likely sitting around all day. Never again.

My cabesa tacos had no flavor tasted like water. The rest of the tacos are burnt, dry & hard. We got 3 slices of lemon for 12 tacos & only 3 tiny salsa not enough for the amount of tacos. It's disappointing as I liked the place.

We came out for lunch for the first time yesterday. We loved the music and the variety of food. The set up was nice and chill. We ate at the So Cal Tomal truck, we love their food and their aguas frescas! Everything smelled so good and the food was great. Can’t wait to come back and try the food at the other trucks.

Lady at register had skunk face. Needs to smile and be more customer service maybe put eyebrows down and smile. Was afraid to go back and ask for a napkin. Other than that the food was great

Great customer service and food. The owner served me on my very first time and it was the best birria tacos I've had. Their burrito is okay but I highly recommend their birria tacos.

I've tried food at their previous location so I was thrilled to find out that they moved to this location with more seating and with more food choices in the same area. I enjoyed my queso birria tacos before so I did the same order and while their consomme was still as good with the tacos, I just found my previous order tasted way fresher and better when I had them at the Gosford location. It was still tasty but the tortillas were not as crispy as I wanted them to be. Horchata was okay, sweet as expected. But all of these are just minor, it's still a place worth going back to.
So good! The meat was a little salty but the overall quality was amazing. Their tamales are really good too. I got the chicken one and wish I ordered more. Service was fast and the seating was fine. It's summer so yeah it was hot

I have been following So-Cal Tamal for several years around town. I was very happy when they settled in the truck court on Rosedale. I have been here several times. The food is great. Unfortunately, the girl working the window has a bad attitude. She appears to hate her job. I gave her the benefit of maybe having a bad day in the past. Today, when I came back to order, she had the same attitude. As a business owner myself, I know this can ruin a business. I hope the owner realizes her attitude. As I'm writing this, I got called to get my food. She handed the food to me and closed the window. No "Thank you" or "Have a Nice Day." Hopefully, things change. The food is really good. I'm giving this place 3 stars just for the food. 1 Star for the service.
