Amazing, the food and drinks were delicious. I got fish tacos, rice, and a virgin mango Chamoy margarita. Me and my family also got the flan for dessert and it was absolutely flawless. Love the ambience and the service was great. My aunt also got a piece of cheesecake for her birthday dessert and me and my family tried it. The only thing I would say needs improving is the cheesecake, it was slightly dense and a little dry, other than that, everything else was amazing. I would definitely recommend you try it

In my opinion best place for date night if you're craving Mexican food. Great ambiance and amazing food. Cocktails are good, friendly Bartender. Come as you are or dress to impress either way you'll fit in.

If your looking for Mexican food, don't come here. The food is blan, no flavor, and just bad. Ordered the fish tacos and I promise you that del tacos fish tacos are better tasting and better quality.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food and food with flavor, then steer clear....This is 100% a 2 star ⭐️⭐️ restaurant but i'm giving 3 stars as service was prompt. We visited at prime dinner time 7pm and the restaurant was almost completely empty with only 10 dining (first sign this wouldn't be great). The ambiance was nice but it felt more like it should be an upscale/middle of the road steakhouse decor than a Mexican restaurant.Chips & Salsa were promptly brought out - the salsa was the only flavorful thing of our entire meal and we only received a small bowl with no offer to refill during our meal. We ordered the chili con queso (very pasty and lacking of any type of taste), carnitas (tender - but bland pork roast served with burnt onions), and a combination dish of chicken enchilada and taco (taco came out burnt and split open while the enchilada wasn't bad but very unflavorful). The only item of our meal that tasted great was the refried beans. Both meals were served with wilted salad mix as a garnish. The price of the food is a joke - extremely overpriced. If you're going to charge $36 an entree at a Mexican restaurant, it better be outstanding.Overall, a very disappointing experience - we will not be back.

I like the food here but I generally stay away from the bar because it's kind of overpriced compared to other places close by. I think if they lowered the prices a little bit on the bar area it would bring in more customers for the food. But it's a real nice place.

Don’t bother making a reservation here. We made a reservation fora group about a month ago, confirmed it two days ago, and arrived to learn that they had given away our table and could no longer accommodate us.The staff and manager were totally indifferent to our plight and would not even contemplate putting us on the patio because it would be inconvenient to their staff. If you look at my reviews on here you’ll see that I rarely leave a negative one. This place warranted an exception. Do not give these people your business when there are so many good restaurants in Bakersfield.

The food here is fantastic! They have a large menu to choose from, and everything is fresh! They are able to accommodate most dietary restrictions. The service here was good as they made to sure to check on you often.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in Bakersfield. It is one of the classiest restaurants. The servers are top-notch and serve your food in style! The food is delicious. Everything I've ever tried here is exceptionally good! Their molé and tortillas are freshly made. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles and Kern counties! I celebrate my birthday here many times!

The food was food, but the service was pretty awful. We were there for almost two hours but spent the majority of the time just waiting for the waiter to come to us to take the order, check on us so we could ask for refills, by the time they came back after delivering food we informed them they hadn’t brought all the food but at that point we were all done eating and they didn’t even apologize. Very disappointed.

We went to Smitten for Mother's Day but the kitchen was closed so we tried Sol y Luna nearby. If youre vegetarian or vegan they have veggie fajitas (for vegan just ask for no cheese if you get refried beans). I verified with the server that the rice and refried beans are vegetarian/vegan.It seems pretty pricey (especially for Bakersfield) but the portion was at least large for the fajita veggies and they tasted pretty good as well.Vegetarian options: One option: veggie fajitas
