This place was amazing! The food was on point. It is one of the best food I've ever had. We ordered calamari, steamed clams, grilled chicken cobb, Atlantic salmon, and Lobster tail, and so much more. The food came out fast, and our server was fantastic and consistently checked up on us to see if we needed anything.

The crab cakes paired with the mustard sauce were delicious . The shrimp Alfredo was delicious. Very classy nice service . I will be returning tonight. And yes I know my picture is nice.✨

I went before the lockdown, the steak was dry and the floors where sticky. I'm giving 2 stars because they have decent beer.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. This recommendation is always successful. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the crew is attentive and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we pass a splendid evening. I warmly recommend this restaurant.

Wow. In these challenging times to have this level of service is amazing. I was driving around looking for a restaurant for take out and stumbled on the Mark. I was greeted by Savannah the Manager who although closing greeted me and said of course you can order and prepared a fantastic rib eye dinner to go. The food was exceptional. Did I mention they had booze to go! Thanks Brian for your cocktail to go! Make it a point to visit the Mark. For now to go but when this is all over I will make this my go to place for award winning service and exceptional dining.

My husband and I went here for dinner last night. The food was great, BUT the entire restaurant was FILTHY dirty! The railing next to our table had an inch of dust, as did the floor. The restrooms looked like out houses. The restroom floors and walls were absolutely horrifying, there were 1 million greasy finger prints on the black stall doors. The top of the stalls had an inch of dust as well. The trash cans were OVERLOADED with used tampons. My husband & I are both sick to our stomach this morning. This place hasn’t been cleansed for months. This used to be our favorite spot. It’s sucks to see such a nice place go down hill.

Savannah responded almost immediately confirming our reservation. When we arrived we immediately noticed how friendly all the staff members were. And the feel and aesthetics of the restaurant itself were very warm and welcoming. Our server, Ashley, was quick to greet us and was very friendly. The eating experience is so much more enjoyable when your server is happy. My wife is highly sensitive to dairy products, so we normally have several questions before we order. In most restaurants, the server needs to ask the kitchen staff about ingredients. In this case, Ashley was able to answer every question we had about ingredients and even went above and beyond and asked us additional questions making sure we were going to get exactly what we wanted. As for the food itself, it was all amazing. I ordered their soup of the day, which was a curry cauliflower soup. It was absolutely delicious. For our main courses we had the apple-glazed pork chop with seasonal vegetables and a baked potato, and the pistachio crusted rack of lamb with broccoli. My wife ordered the pork chop well done. It was cooked perfectly and wasn’t dried out. She said it was very tasty. I ordered the lamb rare, and this was also cooked and seasoned perfectly. Often when I order lamb at a restaurant, I simply cut the chops off the ribs. These were so good that I actually cleaned the bones of all the meat. The prices of the food seem high when initially viewing the menu online. These prices are well worth the quality and amount of food you receive. This isn’t your usually high-priced tiny plate of food. Neither of us could finish our plates of food. The staff happily boxed up our remaining food for us. When Ashley came back to our table, she handed us a cork with a number on it rather than a couple of containers full of food. She explained that they hold your boxes for you until you leave so that you don’t have to sit and finish your drinks with some bulky containers in your way. This was a surprisingly pleasant bonus to our experience. We enjoy trying new places when we go out. This restaurant is easily the best place we have eaten at in Bakersfield so far and we will be recommending it to our friends.

Really enjoyed dinner at The Mark. I would definitely recommend the spinach dip it was delicious. It is a great appetizer and would work for a party of 4 people, and since it was only my husband and I we only got through half the appetizer. I also enjoyed the bread that is served before dinner arrives it was really soft and super delicious. For my drink I had the sangria it was very refreshing! It is on the sweeter side, but I thought it was very tasty. Our server David was also amazing! I really enjoyed his great customer service! This is a nice place to enjoy with friends or a date.

This review is based on my experience in the bar, for which my brothers and i had went downtown to celebrate one of their birthdays. The environment and ambiance was very nice; it was fairly mellow for being a Saturday night. The drinks were also fairly priced, although they could be considered a bit expensive by some standards. The location was good being right off of H street and being in downtown Bakersfield, and the decor in the bar itself was very nice and fancy. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick drink or a good bar with live music!

Went for NYE...definitely disappointed. I would have to say the one appetizer I was served wasn't worth the cover fee. The female bartender seemed irritated when I asked what was in the NYE drinks. Almost everyone left by 11:30pm.
