This spot has a variety of options for those looking to eat differently and more healthful food. All options are vegan, and the cuisine is from all over. Most recent meal experience exceeded my expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. It also offers cold-pressed juices, and vegan desserts including homemade ice creams. Their prices are fair, considering the quality of food and service.So disappointed this spot will no longer be open for dine-in. But I’m looking forward to its presence booming since Bakersfield is moving towards becoming a Blue Zone community. ?

I moved to the area a year ago and was kinda nervous about finding new spots to go to. Vida instantly became one of my favorite places! It’s my go-to for random movie nights when everywhere else is closed, or for last minute snacks since their service is always quick and the side dishes are cheap + filling. It’s perfect place to chill and read for an hour as well, their music selection is really fun and the people working here are very kind the drink / shake / dessert selection is a huge bonus.I’ve never left a google review before because I get nervous about posting things publicly, but these guys really deserve every glowing review they get ?Dietary restrictions: Vegan / vegetarian / gluten free options! I’m not sure how much they’re willing to adjust meals for you but I’ve asked once or twice to leave certain items off a plate and they were totally chill about it.Wheelchair accessibility: For both entrances there is only one door each, but besides that there are no steps and the space in the lobby and between tables is wide! Its mostly moveable tables / chairs with a few fixed benches along one wall. The pick up order area has little cubbies of which the lower are definitely reachable, and its directly next to the cashier if assistance is necessary. I can’t recall off the top of my head if the counter the water is on is easily reachable, but the people working there are very kind and helpful if its not.

As a family who isn't vegan, but lactose intolerant, this place is a huge hit! Their food is amazing, and so creative. They also make their own ice cream and it's off the charts. The Mexican hot chocolate ice cream and the horchata ice cream are our favorites, but they all are really lovely tasting, especially with how little Bakersfield offers for vegan ice cream. Don't forget to try the strawberry horchata, we love that too! Everyone who works here is also incredibly friendly and helpful. 10/10!
From walking in no one greated us. I was carrying a car seat so I walked straight to sit the baby on the seating bench. Had no idea if it was open to self seating, if we could order through our phones. The two girls behind the counter were having a conversation, finally we noticed the QR codes to view the menu. After a few minutes of reviewing the menu and not being approached for info about the place we decided on the lunch specials which the menu states “everyday from 11 am to 3pm”. Still having no acknowledgment a family walks in goes straight to the counter and orders I hear The cashier mention a brunch menu. We go up to order only to find out the lunch specials are only Monday through Friday which most places are but because it doesn’t say anywhere only Monday through Friday we thought everyday included Saturday and Sunday. We Finally ordered our food. Presentation is great food was tasty. I go to the restroom and guess what no toilet paper or paper towels. The backup toilet paper slot was also empty which tells me this must have been empty for a while. We were the only customers aside from the family of 4 that walked in. My friend had asked for ranch instead of ketchup they told her it would be an additional.50 cents she got up went to purchase it turned out to be .54 cents she didn’t have the .04 cents so she had to break a dollar. We Finished our meal an hour later and realized they never once bothered to check in. I had the Alfredo pasta was okay kind of runny but good in taste, the ABLT was good more like a ham and which than bacon. The bean dip was good recommend the tortilla chips vS the cucumber.

I'm so glad I found this place the service is excellent and so is the food! You can sit indoors or out and there is a creamery. There are plenty of options to suite your craving.
I ordered the empanadas with a side of plantains, and my wife ordered the La Reina arepas with sweet potato tater tots. Delicious! And for dessert I had a warm rocky road chocolate chip cookie. Wow... All of this food really hit the spot. We were headed home from up north after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. As we were passing the Bakersfield area we were both getting hungry, so my wife searched for anything nearby that offered vegan options... but she found something even better! A fully vegan restaurant! This was our first time here and I'm already looking forward to the next time.

I love this place. Im the only one vegan in my family. I have brought most my family members here and all like food and drinks. There is a creamery inside, they also have fresh juices. They have a huge variety of options. They also have a bakery, they have cookies, brownies, breads, cheese cake. Everytime a family member has a birthday I by them a vegan cheesecake, they all love it. You can also order birthday cakes, they do have specials on holidays also. I love that they have a rewards program. Friendly environment, great customer service. Best happy hour. Sometimes they have bands or DJ's. Its family friendly. They also have daily specials and bunch. They try and take you on a trip around the world with diverse cuisine options. Love this place. Wish they posted the daily specials on website. A great hidden gem. Was passing through Bakersfield and looked up vegan food. So glad I found this place. I've eaten at a lot of vegan places and while I love most food it's always nice to see a place that has something unique that I haven't had before. Here I tried an arepa burger with plantains on it. And also had espresso rubbed vegan BBQ beef tips. So unique and tasty. Friendly service and comfy atmosphere. Huge menu and fair prices. Definitely check it out if you are passing through.
