Last time I was here the rice was clumpy. Decided it was a one off thing and tried again.Arrived at 744pm with workers and some customers inside. Door was locked and the staff behind the desk didn't even look at us waiting in the cold.No indication whatsoever that the restaurant would be closed.

I placed a mobile order on the Yoshinoya app. Btw, when you sign up you get an offer for a free bowl so that's pretty cool. Moving forward, I drove there and experienced a long drive thru wait, which I won't be using against them because the customers may have ordered a lot. I was sad to see that my order had just been sitting out and not kept somewhere warm. It was Luke warm 5 minutes later when I got home. I ordered the orange chicken bowl with vegetables and brown rice. They gave me white rice. The orange chicken had a good bite and flavor, but was dry as was the rice. The vegetables(steamed broccoli, carrots, and cauliflower) was pretty good and seasoned well. Overall, not bad. I'd come back again and probably just pick up in the lobby next time.

The gyudon beef bowl always hits the mark. Something so simple rice beef and onions is the move.

Today, my daughter treated us for dinner from this Yoshinoya. It was such a nice gesture, but WE WERE SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS PLACE! Large beef bowls we got were so skimpy on meat (see the picture) and tasted really old to the point that made my stomach really funky after eating it. Clam chowder my daughter ordered was spoiled. SPOILED. You could actually smell it. Egg rolls were soggy, lukewarm, and tasted funky, too. The only thing edible was a flan, which was actually purchased from the outside vendor. I'm from Japan, the origin of Yoshinoya, and I understand the food they offer here in the US is a bit different, but the beef bowl is basically the same. This restaurant is a disgrace. Skimpy potion, questionable and dangerous food quality, and bad service (according to many other reviews). This isn't the Yoshinoya I grew up with. Yoshinoya America should be ashamed of themselves for having this store under their franchise. If we are going to spend $80 to get food poisoning, we'd rather spend it at some other fancy restaurant. NOT RECOMMENDED. Eat at your own risk.

I would leave them a zero rating if I could. There is nothing good here. Our order today was a shocking disappointment. Not only was the food bad but all 3 of us got food poisoning. We spent 78.00 on food to get severe abdominal pain and to keep it decent we all got the after affects of food poisoning. The worst was the clam chowder, it was definitely bad. This restaurant should be shut down before someone dies. None of the food we received was fresh and tasted like it had sat for a long time, it tasted old and was not to temperature. Save yourself and your family. Don't eat here.
