The owner is awesome. The girls he has working there are trash. Food is great but the price is bad. Asada fries and two soaps and one glass bottle of coke $30. Soaps didn't come with rice and beans. Receipt is not itemized and I feel they make the prices up as they go and blame the language barrier when they charge you to much.

If you want the authentic Mexican food experience, this is the place. Great food with a homemade taste just like a grandparent or aunt made it, with love. The torta milanesa was delicious. The burrito of lengua was outstanding, the tortilla seemed hand made. The gorditas were also non-expensive and tasty, hand made corn flour tortillas with delicious cotija cheese. The mango juice was all natural, and their salsa was tangy, zesty, spicy and delicious. If I’m ever in Baldwin Park, I’m returning to this spot.

It's a hidden gem in an otherwise city with a multitude of Mexican restaurants, the one catch though is that they care about how your food in prepared. I found it by chance and have been hooked ever since. If you want great tasting food, menudo for me, this is the place to be.
