First things first the customer service is excellent here. It's a restaurant attached to a hotel. On a road trip to the bay made a food run here saw the asada burger ontye reviews and I had to have it. So we ordered an asada burger and a asada burrito. The burrito big and bomb. It's truly good the meat the toppings delicious. Your going ask so why is the rating so low and your probably going ask that after you read the burger review. Truth is what expected my asada burger to look it didn't. Like when you watch them fast food commercial and the burger be looking like beyonce but when you order yours it's looking like Sheneneh. The burger taste great but I hardly got any asada meat from the pictures posted you get a whole heap of meat and this was just a burger with a few strips. I'm not sure if it's a take out or sit down thing, meaning some places cut a few corners on your take out order cause are you really seeing your meal before you get home and are you really driving alltgr way back. I think not and I'm not saying this is what they do I'm just saying it makes you think. Def would have given them 4 possibly 5 stars if that burger gave me what it was giving other. Loved them onion rings

I stayed at the hotel and went to the restaurant. To start off the service was very good. Everyone was nice and attentive. I ordered the Mexican jambalaya and let me tell you it was bomb. It was pricey but worth it. I got the spicy beans on the side and they were stupid delicious ?. I definitely recommend this place to any Mexican food lover. The menu had lots of different options.Parking: Truck parking

Maybe it just wasn't their night since the service was terrible; probably the worst I've had. However, the chips were barely seasoned and fried in burnt oil, and the meat tasted bland and looked pre-shaped and frozen before cooked.

We ate here last night and it was really good. They were jam-packed and the service was still awesome and quick. Everyone was really friendly even though they're all running around like crazy. I'm a very picky eater and I didn't expect to enjoy my food as much as I did.

Got stranded in Barstow, spent extra time, money and effort to stop at this restaurant as on their website it seemed to be one of the very few nicer spots in town, and they had a great deal called family meal #1 that we wanted to get. Being as though we were stranded & being hit with a ton of unexpected expenses, this was seemingly perfect! That is until we got there. Music was switching from country to Mexican. Which I love both, but it didn't suit the atmosphere. Cherry coke is not cherry coke, it's cherry syrup and not too tasty. Besides the point, my quesadilla was good & server was fine, the "busboy"s name tag literally said that "busboy" and he was by far the hardest and best worker there. So we got to place order and server isn't sure if we can order the family meal deal we saw on their website. She checks with bartender. He said it's only for to go? As if that makes sense so I asked to speak w a manager. She sends over "manager" aka bartender. Who SITS at our table. Seemingly confident with ZERO to back it up. I let him know how we came to the restaurant and that we were excited for what we thought we were going to get it and it doesn't make sense that we are not able to order the deal as advertised know. Where does it say that you cannot have it in the restaurant? He tried to excuse it away that it comes in trays, etc. and therefore it would be better for her to go. I explained that we would take some to go but otherwise they can just put our food on extra plates.?? This is straight laziness and his excuses were just that. I suggested they update website that it is for to go only. No sincere help here. He did say we could order smaller portions of same items on menu in dine, but that would be far less food and far more $. No thanks. But, Barstow as a whole seems to lack professional & business savvy.

A lovely experience! Burritos were giant and so delicious! We went on Friday on our way to death valley and came back on Sunday on our way home! Haley actually enjoys her job and makes you feel welcome and keep our drinks full and was so happy. We will definitely be back!
