Breakfast was yummy and plentiful. Ordered hamsteak n eggs hash browns n toast with coffee. Wow, had to cut the ham in half to save for ham sammy later n still got full. The family wned business peeps are friend too. At a glance from the outside, Roy's is very unassuming. You can drive by and miss it if you're not looking carefully. And what a loss that would be! This is a fantastic stop while passing through Barstow. This is a family run business and the service is friendly. The menu is a great mix of traditional diner and Mexican fare. Upfront some bias. The service is always pleasant and Barstow has this weird service culture where everyone is nicer than you’d expect. So service is an easy win.Atmosphere: very road time cafe.
