Nostalgic. Old school 80's feel with the same decor and seating. The chicken was hot, fresh and crunchy. The drive-thru was 8 cars deep and there was about 9 families ordering food when we arrived. Call ahead if you are in a hurry.

You're walking into a time capsule or something from the 90s. They've managed to leave the restaurant looking classy inside. Their chicken and meals have never lost their flavor. What a shame theirs only few spots left, I personally liked pioneer over kfc... yes, their chicken is pre-cooked and sitting under heat lamps and extremely hot when you get it, but crispy and not too oily how chicken should taste. Fish and chips basket were decent also.

I came here for nostalgic reasons. There's no other reason. This was a big chain but now is in business only in LA.Food is still 1980s style greasy and you can tell the grease is not fresh. It makes for great fries but the flavor of the chicken is not complimented. You're not on Melrose in West LA so don't expect that vibe or servixe around here in East LA.Veni, vidi, vici and I'm done. If you're not a fan of this chain or this area, don't waste your time.

Classic fried chicken restaurant that still exists! Great fried chicken and sides. Their biscuits taste like a mixture of biscuits and cake which was interesting and tasty! The interior is outdated but has that nostalgic feel. Worth a visit!

FOOD: Absolutely the best fried chicken out there. Period!SERVICE: Not exactly the friendliest person taking our order... didn't seem to care that much, but, oh well...ATMOSPHERE: Quite stuffy in there as they did not have any air conditioning, but a fan blowing around warm air....BUT MY WIFE AND I LOVED THE FOOD AND WE WILL BE COMING BACK!

The chicken was overcooked, the wait was too long. Poor poor service. I'm not coming here again after driving an hour to get here. The mashed potatoes had no flavor.

I think this might be one of the most underrated chicken, fast food areas this completely surpassed, in Terms of flavor, quality and quantity. I would definitely say that this is better than canes and even a near restaurant by the name of legends, hot chicken I will definitely come here a lot more and the service was amazing kind, quick and polite.

They always seem to be in a bad mood and they take a long time to give you the order.
