Great food, great service and great people. This hole in the wall has some of the nicest and friendlier waitress I've every been served from. Had their Molcajete for two people for $30 Comes with rice, beans, chicken, carne Asada, cheese and nopales. Paid $39 and thought it was worth every dollar. Definitely recommend this little Mexican restaurant.

The shrimp soup (caldo de camarón) was excellent. Spicy!! Good!! The 2nd dish was pozole and it too was great Will definitely come back for more.

The staff was super kind, but I discovered that there are items on the items on the menu that do not reflect the actual pricing you will be charged. I ordered one of the spirits off the menu and was charged 40% over the listed price without being informed as the listed price is for a "shot", but if you just ask for the item you get a "pour". I feel this practice is super scummy and probably most people don't notice the price difference when handed a check. Not cool.

Everything was fresh and delicious! The service was personable and excellent. I enjoyed the pico de gallo with the fresh chips. I ordered the enchiladas suizas and the sauce had a great flavor.

Nice small but cozy place to come have some nice time with the fam. Easy to spot from Gage ave. if you come from the east it will be at your right side between Otis St/ Gifford StAnd if you come from the west you will find it at your left side. There is parking available at the front on Gage ave. as well as on the back through the alley where the Restaurant has en entrance as well. Now that they reopen we came and saw new staff. Same owner but new waitresses and cooks. And I gotta say the food tasted delicious. One of the things I love the most at this restaurant is the hand made tortillas.. The molcajete and the tampiqueña are one of my favs here. But today we tried the carne asada, fajitas and fried tilapia. I do not know if they make their own chorizo but it is delicious in a taco with their red salsa. The chocolate shake is yummy as well as the hot chocolate. Service is always great.I have nothing bad to say about this place at all. Always welcoming with a smile. The decor is pretty nice I love the art on the walls. The prices are affordable.Over all my friends and I love it here at La Costa Restaurant❤
