“My experience at Toms was second to none. From the time I went in to the time I left. My bartender (Kay) was awesome. I was going to my first kings game and she put me up on game, told me the ins and outs. It’s like she knew what I should do to make me feel welcomed by the kings fans.After the game I went back. Kay, remembered me which was even cooler. I stayed there until close. She was moving back and forth and still found the time to make sure I was always ok.she seemed to get along with everyone. Kay was awesome, her co-worker was awesome also, can’t remember his name but he was a Raider Fan!! He took care of me pretty good also.I would definitely go to this place again. 10 of 10“

“Found this place by accident because it was the only convenient parking. The lady was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Food came out super fast, and was very fresh. I was also impressed by the incredibly competitive prices. My meal was about $13 for 5 wings and fries. Many places would charge me closer to $20. Honey garlic wings: 10/10 (slight kick, I don't normally like any spice, however I really didn't mind on these, they were very good) Side note: The sauce was just drizzled on, not covering the whole thing. I thought it was perfect, the chicken was great on its own, and it wasn't drowning in sauce. Sometimes places go overkill on the sauce to compensate for mid chicken, not the case here. I don't know how it can get better than this in LA.“

“I was in town for just 24 hours and heard good things about The Elbow Room, so I decided to give it a try and I was BLOWN away! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by several people and got a table in the back of the bar. The menu was incredible, so I had a hard time trying to figure out what to order so I ordered a little bit of everything. The smoked wings were amazing, as was the pizza, shrimp and filet bites. “My husband was staying at usc hospital and me and my son would pass by everyday to go to our hotel and one day we stopped and ate an early dinner. The service was exceptional and everyone was really nice and attentive. The Mac and cheese bites were my favorite appetizer!! So good. The pizza I had was really good and my son said his pasta was good. The older gentleman with the accent was really sweet. “Haven't been to Gold Room in years, better than I remember it. Small dive bar off Sunset. Bartender Tony was friendly, attentive and quick to take our drink order. His cocktails were very very well made. He takes his time and you can tell enjoys the craft. Tried the Double Trouble and Pineapple Express. Double Trouble is absolutely delicious - 10/10. Pineapple Express was just as good, but def loaded (has mezcal & tequila). It'll have you feeling good real quick. Drink prices are reasonable priced for LA. Same for their daily happy hour menu. Very solid beer menu too. They have a jukebox you can pay to control the music which is kinda cool. Get to hear a variety of music genres cause of it. Solid bar for a quick beer or cocktail.“

Was pleasantly surprised when I went in bar looks like it has been renovated has a big bar and nice size tables to accommodate parties of various sizes. Ordered some food like the nachos and bitch were excellent and tacos were delicious also had the lumpia taquitos which were on point with the sauce. The beer selection is good mixed drinks were priced moderately. Over all service was great we had two servers in charged of our table both were great. “I like the vibe of this place but I was going back and forth between 3 and 4 stars. The prices are high. This is a dive bar but the prices do not reflect that. That's my biggest complaint. Our server was super sweet, albeit sometimes hard to find. Who knows how many servers were on the clock or how big their sections were, so I'm not holding it against her. Her personality honestly made up for it anyway. The wings are fantastic. The rest of the food was just fine. There is a parking lot, which is great, but does fill up quickly on a busy night. Do make sure to get a pass from the bartender/server.“

“This place is a serious good time. A word to the wise, the karaoke is deceiving, the pros make it look super easy but it's far from it. There's only instrumental to accompany you with minimal cues. I failed miserably at my rendition of Shoop from award winning artists Salt-N-Pepa. I would have been mortified if not for the stop light shot I had taken just before. Warning No.2, if you come here on your birthday you will have to take one of these stop light shots (3 of em) in a consecutive fashion whilst the whole bar sings happy birthday to you. All in all, a great night with a chill crowd. The Micheladas are delicious and made to your spice preference. The bartenders are all really nice and friendly. 10/10 will return and hopefully recoup my honor in the karaoke.“

“I was invited to a friend's birthday party here. I'm familiar with the area but I had never heard of the place. It's in a small strip mall in the corner I drove around a few times before I actually found. I drive an SUv and the parking close to the bar are all for compact cars. I didn't want to walk far so I squeezed into the really tight space. I didn't order food as they allow you to bring in your own food in. I did buy a drink from the bar a Cadillac margarita which to my surprise was $18 and in a very small glass. It wasn't strong which made me make the decision to have just one drink. The DJ was good and when asked to play the birthday song of choice he did. He gave her shout out. The guys at the party played dominoes and they have pool tables too. I would go back again but would definitely bring my own drink in the parking lot“

“I've been coming here for over 8yrs.... Unfortunately I went yesterday 12/11/23 and I ended up getting food poisoning, the service was terrible and you have nothing but a bunch of drunk idiots fighting at the bar. Even the owner got a bloody eye one time I was there. This place can be great just needs a lot, a lot of work with service food and the atmosphere plus security. I got the pasta with buffalo chicken. That's what got me sick.“
