Looking for a pizza spot outside the Normal and this location was open . Read the reviews and seemed like a legit spot. And like all positive reviews I read the phone call was short and to the point. You order your pizza and the owner will send you a ETA text and a text when ready to pick up. You pay and take the pizza home . To my absolute surprise it was very delicious. Cheesy and full of pepperoni. Crust was nice and warm , soft too . Came with parm and peppers without even needing to ask. Would reccomend giving it a try definitely one of the best hole in the wall spots I have been too

This is type of place you get your food and move the heck on. He takes the call barely says two words and your food will be ready and delicious in no time. If you call he might text you instead. Don’t expect any type of award winning service. The food is good and worth it. Pizza has plenty of tuoppings and cheese and the dough soft with a little crisp.

I read a review about this place? Locked door, dark, call in your order, your order will be made even without yhem taking your name.... all true. A few weeks ago my brother in law brought us some pizza from here..... and it was delicious. Now yes, costco&sams have pizzas under $10, here a large is 14.99+tax but you get choices, many choices. My niece, her husband and her daughter said, this is the BEST pepperoni pizzas they've EVER had. I agree it is really really good. Their Hawaiian pizza is very good too, and my personal favorite. So I am making this my pizza place for takeout pizza for my family gatherings when pizza is craved. I imagine the locked metal security door is for their protection and safety. With so many break-ins, I'd keep the door locked too if I worked or owned that place. The door has an opening for 3 large pizza boxes to pass thru, they park their car in the driveway so only street parking is available. Quoted 20 minutes, I usually arrive early because I don't want my food to sit and wait for me, but that's just me, I waited a few minutes outside. I only saw 1 person inside, hustling so be patient or order ealier if you need them at a specific time.

Seems like the only reason they have 4.5 stars is due to people being as sensitive as my 4 year old cousin not one complaint about the pizza itself just a bunch of technical bogus complaints. Pizza is great and I highly recommend this place.

Tried it for the first time the other day Closest spot to me that is like Rico’s in bell amazing pizza. He doesn’t ask for name or nothing but like an other reviewer said he got the message just show up and call and he will gladly pass you your pizza after you have paid.
Pizza is awesome and toppings are generous. But this isn't a place to loiter or hang around. Simply call, state your order, owner will say thank you and hang up. It will be a 15 second call and he will not ask your name or callback number. But trust me, he got the message and will be making your pizza. When you get there you will approach an odd looking black door, it will be closed. If no one is around go ahead and call. All the transaction will take place through a closed door with a pizza sized hole in the center. They say the shadiest spots have the best food and that rings true for this place. Only downside is the hours are inconsistent and the owner doesn't always answer

TERRIBLY RUDE! Took my 'to go' order over the phone. Said 'ok bye'.. I had to ask him how long it would be.He never requested my name or anything. I showed up on time to pick up my order. Very dark outside, but the lights inside and the Open sign were on. The door was locked! No one came to the door. I left and 10 minutes later I received a text saying 'your food is ready.' I replied that I had been there and the door was locked then said to cancel. He felt the need to text me back 'Don't ever call in your order again' ???Don't worry- I won't

Did not know what to expect. I was looking for a local pizza shop and this came up on yelp. I called and placed my order since there was a two large, each with two topping special, for only $25. Placed my order and honestly didn't know what the order taker said but when I repeated my order he said something like, "uh huh." I get to the place and it's locked up but lights are on. Called again to say I was outside to pick up my two large pizzas. He said ok, hung up and I waited a few more minutes. He came outside, took my payment, then went back to ring it up and brought my pizzas out. These larges were larger than other places. Lifted the cover to verify my order and they were correct. Boy did they look and smell good! One was a mushroom and chicken with red sauce combo. The other was pepperoni and extra cheese. Great crust cooked to a perfect temperature and the sauce was outstanding. On a El Presidente/Dave Portnoy Scale, I give it a 7.9!
