Toko Rame is one of the smaller Indonesian restaurants with extensive menu !! Authentic taste. Very.Uncle Fong is also good food but very limited menu offering. Toko Rame is not expensive, closed Mondays. Plenty parking. Halal, no pork served.
I drove 21/2hours just to get there but no dine are allowed.Very disappointed with the food I ordered gado gado only get full of bean sprout nothing else and the lontong I ordered was jackfruit lodeh I only get long beans. Very very disappointed.

The best Indonesian food I’ve had in SoCal. On par with the best food I’ve had while in Indonesia. I would drive an hour every day to this place if I could. Try the Sate Kambing, nasi goreng sapi, ox tail soup. People there are super friendly. Dishes may seem priced a bit high, but the quality, taste and quantity makes it more than worthwhile.

For Muslim friends, maybe this is the only Indo restaurant in LA that is truly "HALAL" from all the menus offered here, (unlike other Indo restaurants which still have menus with B2, etc.)For rice rames rendang, like the rendang here, which is more recommended compared to the Indonesian restaurants that I have tried in several places, here it feels like eating at a Padang restaurant in Jakarta (I forgot to take a photo of the rames rendang rice because I was enjoying it too much?)For delicious pempek, it's just the sauce that doesn't taste goodFor a good place, the WLPN is not too big, the service is also very friendly when we chatGood parkingThe most important thing is that you are allowed to pray even in the corner of the restaurant room, because of the location.If I'm going to an Indo restaurant again, I'll come back here again to try the other menus.Overall ok!!Success & BLESSINGS always for busy shops!!

We love their Nasi Bungkus, which is rice with delicious rendang, fried chicken, curry vegetable, fried hardboiled egg with chili sauce, all wrapped jn banana leaves & butcher paper. The rendang is to-die-for. Their food is authentic Indonesian Sumatran food.We also like their other Nasi (rice menu) and Karedok (slices veggies served with delicious tasty peanut sauce).Service is relatively fast & friendly.Parking could be a problem at times. Getting into and out of the parking lot is a bit difficult as it’s right off the traffic lights.
Nasi bunkus and Gado gado are our go to menu items when we come back to Toko Rame. The bill usually runs up to $44 ; including tips.

Amazing authentic home made halal Indonesian food.You can't find restaurants like this in other cities.Ask the chef for the recommendations. I ordered the rice dish that he recommended (similar to nasi goreng I just forget the name) and it was heavenly.The beef skewer and the dessert (Cendol) were so good too!I'd definitely be back
