I had a very negative experience at this place, the food I ordered was very expensive for the portions you receive and the latte I ordered the espresso shot tasted burnt and when I asked for a remake they refused and proceeded to tell me it was fine and were going to charge me for another. If you come to this bakery I'd say stick to the pastries, skip on the food and if you want coffee go a few blocks down to States coffee for some quality staff and coffee.

The service here was horrible. My boyfriend and I ordered a latte and a London fog. The latte tasted burnt and the London Fog tasted like steamed milk with no earl grey. I asked for a remake and they refused saying "that it was only a little bit of milk." We also orderd two extremely overpriced waffles and were not satisfied with the portion. I would come here for the pastries. Skip on the food and drinks and go to States Coffee x Bread a couple blocks down if you want some quality coffee.

So delicious. We will go back. We had the chicken pot pie and shared different desserts.

This is the bakery to go to in downtown Benicia! They make everything fresh and it is apparent in the presentation and taste. I went with the Breakfast Sandwich with bacon and it was flaky buttery delicious. This is a nice place to relax with friends, a drink, and some food on a nice day.

One House is a great local bakery and usually I would say it's 4-5 stars. Typically I pick up the whole loaf breads made fresh daily, they're delicious! Today I grabbed one of my favorites the sourdough loaf and decided to have a treat and went with an old fashion donut. Unfortunately the donut was disappointing, super dry and lacked flavor and the thing that made it worse was cost seven bucks???? I totally understand that it's not Krispy creme and pastry shops cost more than store bought donuts but $7 bucks is ridiculous for a donut I will definitely still grab the breads here but will avoid donuts .

I love One House, the ingredients are all locally sourced and the owner truly cares about what ingredient goes into every baked good. The chicken pot pie is my fave quick bite and the baked pastries are wonderful, especially the blueberry scone. On a side note please bring back the roasted butternut squash salad with Gorgonzola and arugula, so I don't have to try to make it myself :(

Excellent food. Great customer service. I've been a customer for a few years now and I am never disappointed. Since the pandemic, I haven't eaten within the bakery much but the few times I have, the ambiance has been pleasant. One House is on my list of go-to restaurants when I want something really good to eat

Our favorite bakery in Benicia! My personal favorites are the cakes (carrot, red velvet, devil's food and coconut chiffon). Very moist cakes with creamy butter cream. The next up is the Cinnamon Croissant pull apart. Whoever created this is a genius! For kitchen items, we always get the chicken Romesco sandwich and chicken vegetable soup. If you're looking for a clean and light lunch, you can't go wrong with this combo. I'd highly recommend you to order online prior so you don't have to wait in line to order and pick up. They have a cute seating area in the back if you decide to dine-in.

I don't usually like to leave low reviews especially because I really do enjoy their coffee and baked goods. Decided to go to One House on Easter[BUSY DAY] I understand places get swamped with people and people get irritated but it isn't no one's fault homie. I called in to ask what time they open so I can take my family for a croissant and cafecito and they responded to me with.."well if you followed us on social media you would know what time we open 10am okaaay". I brushed it off no point of tripping, once we got there the server at the baked goods just kept hitting us with the IS THAT ALL dead toned reply. asked can you warm the croissant for me-is that all, is that a yes or no. Other than that the Chika serving up the sandwiches was in a great mood with a smile on her face. Even though she was rushing. My Bakers Breve was delicious aswell as my WARM bear paw. My family enjoyed the garden tea, chocolate croissant, and the mocha latte. We sat outside downstairs in the back patio with definitely makes up for the rest. I come here alot and won't let it ruin the spot. A homie loves having their Chelas and coffee

Came here with my friend one morning randomly and we ended up coming back the next day too. I couldn't stop thinking about the food I had there. I tried their chocolate chip cookie and it was one of the best cookies I've ever had. I also had the chicken in romesco sauce sandwich and it was DELICIOUS!!! That day I went home and I couldn't stop thinking about it. On the following day when we went, I again had a cookie and this time I had the triple grilled cheese sandwich and I added the braised beef. It was so fresh. My highlight was the cherry spritzer drink they had. It literally tasted like a black cherry cola. I'm so grateful for my friend taking me and introducing me to this place. I am super excited to try other items on their menu like their chicken pot pie! Until next time...

Today we ordered to go: Pearl couscous salad that is always divine, a quart of the chicken vegetable (broccoli, cauliflower, celery, carrots) soup, and a chocolate chip cookie to go. Everything was delicious! The soup was a little salty but chock full of vegetables & tender chicken in a delicious chicken broth. The chocolate chip cookie was buttery, crisp and perfectly baked. Love this bakery!!' You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, a must-stop anytime we are in Benicia; highly recommend!

Love everything here! But pls pls keep gluten-free items in a different case or separate area. Cross contamination is real and your delicious gf items can only really be consumed by people who are gluten-sensitive, not those who are truly allergic to gluten.

I went here today for the first time and was not impressed. The line was long but I figured must be exceptional. Not so. Extremely crowded and noisy. We ordered for 5 including pastries, coffee and hot chocolate. We ordered 2 vanilla lattes, 3 pan aux chocolate, the chocolate was as hard as a rock! a raisin pastry, 2 hot chocolate's a small OJ and a donut. Waited a bit for the beverages, the vanilla lattes had no vanilla in them at all so I asked the girl for a shot of vanilla syrup it never came so 10 minutes later I went over to the coffee area and asked them for a shot and they proceeded to grill me about stirring it was I sure I stirred it etc. I ended up dumping the now cold latte in the trash. Close to $75 including a loaf of bread. I will never go here again as they clearly don't care about serving the customer.

Always a morning favorite. Can't beat their breakfast croissant, a little pricey but always good.
