The breakfast was pretty trash. Potatoes barely cooked, egg bland as can be

You can never go wrong, if you are choosing Bongo Burger. Whether it's the Bongo Burger itself, or one of their high caliber gyros,or, maybe even the best lamb sandwich, you will always leave with a full belly, and equally full smile.

With all the places closing along University, it's hard to find a breakfast place, let alone one that's inexpensive. But Bongo Burger, hit the spot. My friend ordered the breakfast special, which included 2 eggs, fried potatoes, and toast for under $8. I had a mushroom and feta cheese omelet with potatoes and toast. Everything was cooked fresh and was ready fairly quickly. All the plates were compostable, so I felt like we were eating against the clock because the plates were flimsy. Haha, but thats Berkeley. The counter person was nice, but their were some issues with the register, so she charged me a guesstimate of what tax would be. I feel like I paid a bit higher than menu pricing. But it was still an excellent value for the area. And the food was tasty. I'll remember it the next time I'm in the area.

The food was terrible. The falafel was a disgrace. The pita was visibly old and hard. The chicken was simply dodgy. The hot dog was nothing to write home about. Won't be returning any time soon. Sad. Barely edible stuff.

The food was bland and over priced I was disgusted at how much mayonnaise they put on my chicken sandwich

Came to Berkeley to visit a friend at UCal and wanted either pizza or a burger. We obviously chose burger! The restaurant isn't really a hole in the wall but almost is at the same time. It was a tight fit during lunch but we made it work. The food was very authentic west coast burger joint burgers. They also had one side of the menu that was for all "odd" or normally "off menu" items you don't normally get in a burger joint such as hummus and wraps. They had a decent amount of vegan and vegetarian options as well. The crinkle fries reminded me a lot of home in Indiana on the farm when we made them. You definitely get a bang for your buck. The portions are fine. Not too much but not too little. I recommend visiting at least once.

Food was okay not the best. The workers are very rude and unfriendly. The young girl seemed unhappy to be working and not helpful when asked a question
