The best agadashi tofu, fresh and affordable sushi, and a lovely casual family atmosphere. Just across from BaMFA for museum days.

Excellent fresh sushi. Chef special Nigiri was delicious. Don’t be put off by the modest appearance of the restaurant, the food is fantastic and the service is excellent.

My time there and our dinner experience with my family was wonderful. The wait staff was professional and courteous. We had a variety of choice and it was fabulous. Will definitely recommend it and will return again.

Really great eats for a reasonable price in the area. Service can be iffy but that’s because they are so busy!

Tried the beef teriyaki and more than half of the beef pieces were so hard to chew they were inedible. Also, I stopped by in the afternoon and just asked for the beef and rice, and was overcharged! I tried Moe Sushi and Grill because of the positive reviews but was sadly disappointed.

Tried this spot for lunch on a Sunday with 2 friends and we all loved our experience! The restaurant looks very low key so we weren't sure what to expect, but WOW the food and service were fantastic. I tried the Rainbow roll combination which also comes with 3 pieces of sashimi and miso soup. The presentation was great and the fish tasted so fresh and delicious. The waitress immediately greeted us and checked in regularly. I didn't get the lunch special this time, but we noticed this is available even on weekends (which seems to be rare for most restaurants). I'll definitely be back and I recommend this spot for fresh, affordable sushi!

Moe is located across the street from a frequent Berkeley destination for me, the BAMPFA. I like to eat before seeing a flick there, so I stopped by Moe Sushi for the first time. It was pretty bare, with no other customers at the time, although some came in after. I asked for a sushi special, mixed nigiri and choice of California or spicy tuna roll. I chose the latter. The nigiri was pretty good, and the roll was reasonable, maybe a half step up from what you get at Safeway. The potstickers mostly tasted like salt. Very hard to find decent veggie gyoza. With a large house hot sake, it was satisfying enough for a sushi craving, but not a place I'd go as a destination. Quick and efficient ice though, which was appreciated.

Ordered cherry blossom roll, godzilla roll, karaage rice bowl. Asked for extra spicy mayo, staff was very nice and welcoming! Music taste on point!! Tea was also very tasty. Thank you!

What a delight! A very simple spot - thus only 3 stars for atmosphere, which is pretty much none - but the food and, especially, service hits the spot.I wanted a quick, light lunch, and had the veggie tempura/salmon teriyaki combo special. Delicious! The salmon was beautifully grilled, and the tempura was fantastic. They obviously use very clean oil, as the coating was almost totally transparent. Most of all, kudos to the sweet woman who ran the front of the house. Incredibly kind and attentive. I'd planned to take out, but so glad I decided to dine in. She's as bright as the sun outside!

What a delicious sushi find!!!! The hostess was friendly, welcoming and extremely attentive. There were many great sushi options on their menu but we finally settled on the 49ers that was citrusy with lemon, salmon and masago, the spicy tuna tata and the fire dragon that was topped off with a slice of jalapeño goodness and they were absolutely delicious!!!! Another must try are the Jalapeño bombs and the garlic edamame
