I got the chopped cheese sandwich. It is quite tasty but for $14.50 at a no frills counter eatery, I was expecting it to be bigger. The bread to meat ratio was also a little higher than I wanted. The french fries that came with it were excellent.

Spicy chicken sandwich is not spicy. But it's good. The bun was good and so were the pickles. The cole slaw was meh. Nothing special. I was hoping for something more with the coleslaw. Service was friendly. Drink from the refrigerator was barely cold. Asked for ice. Was told they don't have ice.

I love Cal's Fried Chicken and Burgers! I've tried the smash burger and the mac and chicken. Both were very delicious and filling. The staff is friendly and the prices are totally fair. I'm excited to visit again!

Excellent food, excellent service, ambiance giving high school/college student demographics. Clean space , indoor seating available . Ordered chopped cheese no lettuce no tomato comes with seasoned fries other sides available with charge. Cashier was hella nice and has a great personality. Very popular amongst the students, one said he comes at least 3-4 times a week.

Small chicken sandwich was just okay. Fried chicken had no crisp. Would not order this again. Chopped sandwich is just chopped up burger meat on a bread that gets soggy easily. Fries and sweet potato fries were cold and soggy. I didn't want these but were part of the order if you DoorDash. Burger had good flavor and held up well. I would say similar to a big mac but made better. Overall just okay.
