Donna provided a perfect meal for 40 guests to celebrate a wedding. Her food was served warm, portions were perfect for everyone. Her food recommendations were appreciated and enjoyed by all. Food arrived on time. Her assistance with serving addressing questions about food selection was appreciated. Her clean up after the meal was quiet and unobtrusive allowing the celebration to continue without interruption. I would definitely use her kitchen again

Donna helped me organize a lovely luncheon for my mom's memorial. I got her name and number from the church where the memorial was held. There were some timing issues because the church had a class in the dining hall that didn't end till the luncheon was supposed to start. So it was delayed-- but Donna worked tirelessly with her team to start the luncheon as quickly as possible and ran it very smoothly. I really appreciated everything she did before, during, and after the event and will work with her again if I need to host another major event. Her helpers were also equally professional and organized.

Donna and company did a great job on food for our wedding reception. We had a wedding party of a tad more than 50 people, and basically it was our first rodeo as couple. Donna did a great job with recommendations for food. The food was more than adequate and as the eponymous Good and Plenty implies it was. This was the first time we've sprung for paid catering and I personally thought was well worth it. Their servers were un-intrusive and always seemed to be there when you needed to have a bit to eat, and our guests were noting but complimentary about the party and service. And the venue was spotless by the time they departed. Everyone had a great time.

Good and Plenty Catering is wonderful! My new husband and I used Donna's catering service for our wedding reception. The food was well made and delicious. Two helpers served the food and the wine, and set up the cake for us. We didn't have to do anything! And they cleaned up afterwards and left the place spotless. It was a magical night that I could just enjoy and take in. And Donna is so wonderful to work with. Like working with a good friend. We will use Good and Plenty in the future should we need a catering service. And they are affordable. Just want to give them a really great review because they are really great!

On a sweltering early evening recently I attended an outdoor memorial gathering for a departed friend, not expecting to have an appetite for the catered supper. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious Donna's buffet looked, and was suddenly hungry. I particularly loved the green salad with blue cheese and candied pecans, and the delicious poached salmon. The menu was perfectly in tune with the occasion and the temperature, and the tiramisu and tiny lemon tarts were a lovely ending. Everyone at my table was impressed, and we were all eager to take her business card for future events.

I had Good and Plenty cater a small party of 20 people. Donna made Moroccan chicken that was excellent. The spices were authentic and the fruit toppings were perfectly cooked into the sauce. It was very special. She also made sesame noodles which had great flavor and lots of vegetables. She delivered the food on time and hot (noodles were served cold but the chicken was delivered hot). I would recommend Donna and Good and Plenty for your next party. it's nice to have a catering service near by that accommodates smaller events and makes them extra special.

On the review page for Good & Plenty Catering you'll see the note, "Relax, I will take care of it." That couldn't be more true! We reached out to Donna with 2-days notice (on a Friday) to cater a 50-person luncheon following a graveside service after our mom's passing. Donna graciously said she would make it happen and swung into action. Within an hour of us calling, she had already drafted an appropriately simple yet delicious and abundant menu and spoken with the staff at the temple where the luncheon would be held to work through logistics. Donna's efficiency, thoroughness, and expertise freed us to focus all of our thoughts and energy on preparing for the funeral. As friends and family arrived at the temple, they could immediately eat, share stories and be present with each other. Donna is the definition of a professional. We are extraordinarily grateful and would recommend her, without hesitation, for any event or need.

On Sunday I attended an event for 50 people for which Donna had less than two days to prepare. This was a meal after a late morning funeral. Both the meal and the displayl of the food were excellent. I tried a little of everything and found myself returning for those things I found most appealing. I took almost as many things the 2nd time, but with smaller portions. This is not the first event I have attended that was catered by Good & Plenty Catering. I have always found the taste and variety to be of the highest quality and flavor. I especially commend Donna for putting together an event which allowed all of the funeral attendees and mourners to mingle in such a welcoming and spacious environment

Donna catered an outdoor event for about 40 at our home. It was wonderful! She was great to work with, the food was excellent, the price was right, and everyone was happy. I'll definitely work with her again if I have the opportunity.

This is a difficult review to write, but thankfully our experience seems to be the outlier here. We called about 50 caterers for a 100 person luncheon. We landed on Donna because she was responsive, didn't shirk away from our estimated budget, and helped us create a menu that frankly felt very indulgent. Throughout our planning, Donna was responsive, but she was also quite disorganized. She doesn't create an official contract so there's nothing to sign between two parties which resulted in a lot of back and forth and having to remind her of conversations we'd already had. When she sent over a payment request for a deposit, she got very confused and sent us a receipt for a different customer - and then called us panicked that she couldn't find our deposit and couldn't remember which customer had sent what. Throughout the year, Donna had multiple issues with her email not working which would result in her calling us panicked that we may have not received her messages; and in the final weeks before our event she had cell phone issues that she seemed confused about how to address with her phone carrier. I really was naive and thought this might all add up to a quirky older lady that had a big, fun personality. A few days before our event, Donna sent us our final invoice, which was just an extremely blurry photo she'd taken that could not be easily read. We immediately notified her of this and she responded by forwarding the same email from her partner's email with the same blurry photo attached. The email that went along with the invoice was truly the most confusing part of this entire interaction: Donna went on a rant about how she was doing us a lot of favors by under-charging us for our event and how she even made a dish for us for free. She added that we should tip her to make up for this pricing discrepancy. This seemed to all add up to Donna that she could take advantage of us on the day of our event. On the day of our event, Donna was quite rude to our Temple employees and even more rude to the (amazing) high school students that work these luncheons often and whom we'd hired to help us with our luncheon. Donna argued with the Temple manager with the way the Temple employees set up the luncheon tables, she argued and bossed around our student helpers; and she again reminded us that she was doing us a favor. In all the talks about our numbers, Donna decided (without discussing with us) not to bring food for 100; instead she brought food for 50 because she estimated that the kids would not eat as much as the adults, if at all. However, we ran out of food! The lox and cream cheese were gone in the first 10 minutes. Sorry, but when 45 teens are sitting through a 2 hour service, they are going to be hungry. Donna did not account for this, but still charged us the full price for 100 people. Finally, although we'd agreed that Donna would bring her items in foil containers for easy clean up, she instead put her food in containers that she wanted back. And although she was scheduled to come at 2pm to come pick up those items, she came instead at 1:15pm and (unbeknownst to me) demanded that our teen helpers wash all her items at that time. I had to come to the back room to see where my helpers were once I noticed them missing and Donna was rudely barking at them to wash her items faster. When she asked me how the food was, I told her that the food ran out in the first 10 minutes. She replied that it only ran out because I "didn't hire real staff." She insisted that had we had real staff that weren't students or Temple staff, that they would have policed how much people were taking at the buffet table. I mean, Donna had two small tubs of cream cheese for 100 people. Insulting Temple staff who man these luncheons every week, and taking employees who aren't on your pay roll to do your cleaning, is not...well...kosher.

Safe bet. They catered my daughter's outdoor baby shower in Dimond Park almost 2 years ago. You definitely feel like your event matters to her. She works within your budget, and supplies plentiful, tastey food, in a timely manner. The server was courteous and helpful, too. Not "elegant", but perfect for family events. Forever grateful

Donna catered a family reunion for 17 at our home. She was amazingly easy to work with, very helpful in selecting the menu and paying attention to some of our guests' dietary needs. The food was truly abundant and delicious (especially the salmon, the chicken skewers, and the spanikopita)! She delivered the food early and plated it with us on our platters. The desserts (triamisu and lemon tarts) were gorgeous and addictive. We wholeheartedly recommend her!!

I used Donna for a big birthday bash dinner party (10 people). Everything was excellent! All went according to plan, and having Kurt over to cook the fish and serve made it so elegant. Everyone loved it and I plan on using Donna for future events!

I hired Donna for a corporate event happy hour in the Bay Area. She communicated well and worked around my requests. She was great to work with, the food was fantastic, and I would definitely hire her again.
