Overall great sushi burrito with extremely fresh ingredients but what really differentiates this place from other US restaurants is the taste and quality of their sushi rice. It tastes exactly like much of the sushi rice I've had in Japan

Cute little spot across Berkeley High. I got a vegan sushi burrito with some tempura sweet potato fries that came with matcha salt. It was delicious, and very healthy. They also have mochi, takoyaki, and many Japanese snacks. Prices are very reasonable and service is excellent. Will be back.

Je recommande vivement. Ce ne sont pas des japonais japonais qui cuisinent, mais la nourriture reste très bonne et quasi typique. A emporter également possible, car peu de place à l’inté

Went for the first time last week and I loved it! Love how you can get pretty unique items inside the sushi burrito like fried zucchini. I got the puri puri poke sushirito and japanese sweet potato fries (comes with amazing matcha salt) and liked both.Run by a sweet Japanese couple -- many Japanese fusion-y places are not Japanese-owned or run (which is totally fine) but I can see all of the attention to detail they put into their food. Despite it not being "traditional" I would say the food is "authentic" in it's own way and very delicious! My only wish was that there was more seating and more of an opportunity to eat inside the store, but right now it's more of like a pick-up type of deal instead of dine-in.

The menu at Sushinista is a captivating journey through the world of sushi, where every roll and sashimi dish is a work of edible art. Each piece is meticulously crafted with precision, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to create an explosion of flavors in every bite.

Ordered the seafood salad, ramen salad, potato croquettes, and a skinny shrimp roll for takeout. Everything was really tasty and well prepared. The salad itself could be a full meal + leftovers. The croquette was my favorite tasting thing and the skinny roll could be a meal itself in a pinch. Prices for everything were great, well below standard Berkeley prices. It's a small place but very cozy and well laid out. You're taking a gamble if you want to dine in, I think, since there's only a couple of tables. Will have to return!

Really attentive service and the food is good. I've ordered via Yelp and picked up with no issues. I've noticed the food quality become slightly lower last week. The sweet potato tempura was not as crispy and i recall there being something else other than just rice and unagi for the thin roll but I may be wrong. I'll try at least one other time as I really like that they are a small biz and always nice when I pick up.

If you are a sushi lover, this place will be like heaven to you. They make sushi burritos. It's off the hook good. The service is quick and food is made right in front of you. It's quiet and you can eat outside. I'm definable Corning back here. Make sure you come here and support local establishments.

I love this restaurant! The sashimi is delicious, I like to get a mix of salmon and tuna. Everything that goes inside of the burrito is yummy and the textures are amazing altogether. I highly recommend Sushinista!!

One of my favorite restaurants in the bay, I wish they were open weekends! The fact that they have sake and an open back area I would love to come here for brunch. Only wish would be more vegan options, like tofu or something. Owners are super nice, and the food is so good. Reminds of Japan, not overly sauced and strong flavors like some of the Japanese foods sold in the US. I really recommend, classic and affordable Japanese food with a twist!
