This place used to be good. With great prices. Then the items became more and more expensive. For the fasfood style of food it is, it isn't worth 20+ dollars just to get a combo meal. I stopped going and i see couple years later this location has closed. It was becoming a rip off anyways.

The place is great the cheese steaks are big and tasty. And what puts it over the top are the great people working there. Unfortunately they lost their lease and will be closing November 1st.

I happened upon the cheesesteak shop when I was in the area and decided to give it a try. The food was great and the service was quick! I ordered the original Philly cheesesteak with hot and sweet peppers and onions. The bread was soft but crunchy on the outside holding all the juices in. The meat and peppers were cooked perfectly. It all tasted delicious with the melted cheese inside. Next time I would opt for only the hot peppers though since I like my cheesesteaks pretty spicy. It had a slight kick but I was looking for more. My fiancé ordered the king of philly with hot peppers and his was good too. He definitely had more meat on his sandwich, which he loved. I'd recommend checking them out if your in the neighborhood. Great food and reasonable price!

This location is a more than a bit long in the tooth, but that gives it character, not unlike the typical authentic cheesesteak joint in the Philly area. Don't believe me? Check out the pics hung on the wall all the way in the back of the shop of Pat's & Gino's in Philly; two shops that are famous for having legions of devout patrons that loathe the other shop's followers - in true City of Brotherly Love tradition. (Truth be told, the best cheesesteaks aren't found at either place nowadays anyway. Yeah, I said it!) This location feels like it could be down the street from either in Philly, minus tha accent & attitude.Amoroso's rolls flown in from Philly are the key; you won't find them at any other cheesesteak purveyor in The Bay. Order a king with white American cheese for the full experience.

I love the way this place looks from the street. I had to give it a shot. The people working were super helpful and they made the food really quickly. The photos inside the building also really enhance the experience. Sandwich wise, I really enjoyed the chunky bell peppers. I got the chicken cheesesteak, which didn't come with an a ton of chicken. It was plenty, but if that is an expectation you have for phillies, i'd just order extra meat.

What do YOU think? Couldn't stomach ordering after seeing this and the black, caked dirt/grease combo in the loft area (too embarrassed to take pic). I took the attached pic on the low. Drove out here from St. Helena and planned to eat here...just gross!! Kitchen area clean, though!! Weird but it's a positive in the midst of filth!!
